Two years ago, Uzul released Evolve, his first solo album on Jarring Effects. A record which abolished the boundaries between musical aesthetics and which traced the evolution of his music, his life and his influences. Today, he returns with a bang to Slab Note, the techno branch of the record label Jarring Effects, for a digital opus full of maturity entitled Grow.
This new album marks a new chapter in Uzul’s life. Indeed, at the dawn of his fifty years, Uzul sees the birth of his son. Having designed this new album at the same time as his child, the analogy with plants seemed obvious to him.
The tree, grown from the seed, is a symbol of life, growth and longevity. The child is also like a plant grown from seed that will grow over time. Growing up in this world damaged by man and his pollution, where collective consciousness must evolve so that young people can flourish on a prosperous planet where nature is placed at the center.
It is therefore in the world of plants that Uzul imagines his decorum to present this album, composed of ten futuristic techno tracks full of maturity.
Uzul, a jack of all trades, curious with inexhaustible creativity, has been a pioneer in terms of technique since the beginning. Already in 1998, the composer was one of the first musicians to use an Atari 1040ST as well as Cubase. At the time, he bought his first sampler, combined it with this sequencer and created a live machine, a feat for the time!
This know-how and this edge can be found in his music as well as in his lives. Today he offers a live performance composed on Ableton Live which he combines with analog. The result is breathtaking.

Leftfield have been at the cutting edge of dance music since the 1990s, releasing albums that have become some of the most influential electronic records of all time around the world with their debut LP Leftism being widely regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic LPs ever released.

Originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, in 2010 Barnes reignited the Leftfield name, and went on to release an acclaimed new album (Alternative Light Source) touring the world with the full live band, with a string of sold out shows.

Neil has also been cementing his reputation as a top-tier DJ and record collector unleashing modern dance floor weapons, selling out clubs / venues, headlining festivals and creating some amazing nights with his sets. Leftfield is a name synonymous with quality and Leftfield DJ Sets are exactly that, allowing Neil the chance to show the depth of his musical knowledge and select the best tracks to take you on a journey.

LSD RHYTHM FORCE is the Dub ‘n Bass live music project by Fer Steady, a.k.a. Steady Riddim, a.k.a. Monkie Noise, a.k.a. Le Fanu, a.k.a. Meusek — a Mexican-born nomadic dubmaker with roots deep in the concrete and cornfields of La Pradera Town, South Tultitlán, Estado de México.

Raised among the sounds of street techno and barrio rap, Steady’s earliest sonic memories come from hard-hitting mixtapes by local giants like Polymarchs and Winners, blasting out of family gatherings and street stalls. Cassettes carrying the fire of crews like Control Machete and Tiro de Gracia lit the fuse for a lifelong journey through music, dance, paint, and poetry.

What began as breakdancing and graff in the early 2000s soon morphed into rhyme-writing, cyphering, and raw DIY recordings on boombox tapes. With no budget but full heart, he filled entire 90-minute cassettes with lo-fi bars — each one a blueprint of resistance and identity.

Immersed in the rising Mexa Hip Hop scene — from freestyle sessions with ESC and Líderes Lokales to his own beat experiments on early FL Studio — Steady forged his sound from scratch. Years of experimentation took him through Doble Ele Crew, Jah Lions SS, and the Rock Steady Team, until in 2013, his compass pointed fully to Dub and Bass Music — not just as sound, but as spiritual technology.

For Steady, dub is more than a genre — it’s a way of living and resisting, rooted in Jamaican sound system culture, Mexican oral tradition, and a DIY anarchist ethic. He sees bass as a healing force, a bridge between the personal and the political, between the street and the spirit. His soundscapes echo with the memory of the ancestors, the struggle of the barrios, and the hope of future rebel generations.

Now based in South London, Steady runs a DIY netlabel called
#LoveSound&DistortionRec, pushing cultural resistance through echo, delay and distortion — fusing urban dub, garage, roots and spoken word into live performances that hit as deep as they uplift.

His live sets, performed with portable sound systems, are not just shows — they’re sonic rituals, a call to memory and movement, a celebration of brown futurism and outlaw love.
