After her previous noteworthy projects Phosphor and Minuit Machine, Hélène de Thoury offers, through her first solo project, a cold and synthetic music mixing nagging cold wave and striking electronics. 
« Her Fall And Rise » depicts these moments in life when you swing between dark melancholia and bright hope. The EP spreads all its complexity through 7 tracks and a limited edition vinyl, offered as a real art object with several interpretations.

Inspired by the dark tones of 'The Storm', directors transcribe a dystopian world parallel to our own, where strange characters appear overnight and own the streets. The characters seem to be observed by someone, they look him and seem to recognize him, but they stay apathetic and intrigued by his presence. 
The director duo 'Ouroboros' plays on the confusion of meaning and disorientation that occurs at night, by suggesting the appearance of beings in unreal appearance. In the form of a dark poetry, they plunge us into a fantasy world populated by demons who haunt us at night, those who come from the past and particularly from our childhood, those who make us believe that we are not alone at night.

With "VA - Outworld 001", the Berlin-based artist Klangkuenstler sets the tone for his new label 
venture of the same name, delivering a blueprint of techno that is futuristic in feel, yet firmly rooted 
in the analogue aesthetics of its heritage. In consequence, Outworld embodies a timelessness, 
which runs parallel to its mission statement – to take the listener deep into the outer realms and 
beyond.
Klangkuenstler's own stellar contribution, 'Supernova', is central to this essence, both in name and 
sound: the textured, high-velocity drum programming bursts with energy and propels the track 
forward relentlessly, while a transcendental synth dances amidst eerie pads and a squelching acid 
bass-line.
'The Evolution', by Manchester's Rudosa, also reaches for a higher sphere by way of a crystalline, 
ever-morphing lead that stretches towards infinity in its climax. Rumbling underneath, heavily 
pounding drums add balance, while acting equally hypnotic.
Hush & Sleep from Maastricht then conclude the odyssey with 'Nio', a muscular builder, consisting 
of dynamic cyber-strings looped endlessly above a fiercly galloping groove. As washes of white 
noise and hi-hats take off into space, it's evident that the EP ends with a third definition of one 
specific feeling: Outworld.

After OW001's maiden-voyage into outer space, Outworld now takes us to the underworld courtesy of label head Klangkuenstler's 'Balthazar' EP, which marries raw peaktime-power with claustrophobic-come-ecstatic atmospheres, served over the course of four tracks.
The devil's dancing on the title-track: as serrated off-hits shatter on tough kicks, a wicked saw-riff begins to drill through the drums as if summoned from Hades. In contrast, the bass-driven body and pulsating sinus-tone of 'Zorn Amons' grind like teeth as they build in tension. A moment of illusive release comes with 'Das Schattenreich', on which the reverberating, fast-paced percussion
runs for escape, hunted fiercely by a meaty trance-lead. On 'Jenseits', though, Klangkuenstler pulls us back into purgatory, showcasing a dramatic end to a carefully crafted and devilishly fun EP of rough club bangers.

Forget Puss in Boots, the Cheshire Cat or Grumpy Cat. Meet Karlsson, who receives a colorful tribute by Perel on her first record for the Dresden-based label Uncanny Valley. After all, there is nothing better than the soothing purr of your own personal tomcat to come down from exhausting DJ gigs and studio sessions.

The title track is a fiery excursion into rave heaven covered with Italo-flags. While Perel goes manta-like about a diet for KARLSSON, listeners are wrapped in anthemic synths. MONTEIRO DA COSTA on the other hand is a paranoid love letter to Perel’s best friend and a lesson in causing dance mania. The synths continue to spiral upwards to the point where there is no coming back.

On the flipside, KARLSSON gets the remix treatment twice. First, BLOODY MARY tucks him into a compelling and classic acid corset. KIM ANN FOXMAN then recreates Karlsson as a toy robot that just discovered house music.

On 'Hexenmeister', the third release on Berlin's high-octane Outworld imprint, head warlock Klangkuenstler conjures the witches for a ball around their bubbling cauldron, adding yet another new facet to his raw signature soundscape.
With it's relentlessly powerful kick and acidic riff, title track 'Hexenmeister' is pure, peak-focused body music, while it's twisted witchcraft vocal and brooding synth-line add positively deranged magic to its meaty pulse. 'Die Sonne Bebt' then whips the floor into oblivion by way of its killer drum programming and grinding rave signals, before 'Strom der Welt' lifts-off with the perfect bounce of rhythm 'til we're drawn back into a maelstrom of powerful electrical currents. Pulling out all the stops for the grand finale, Klangkuenstler concludes OW003 with 'Der Letzte Tanz': part old- school drum'n'bass banger, part transcendental closing-weapon, it marks an end point that feels as if an entirely new dimension just opened itself in the Outworld.

Objector Trax, a DJ from Tbilisi, now based in Berlin, is the man responsible for DVNTT021. His EP ‘Damdev’ contains four tracks featuring Icon aka Lilith. and Jan Soto. In his track ‘Let the bodies hit the floor’ he used acapella from Drowing Pool’s track ‘Bodies’. The artist on his own words says about this track: ‘I used to listen to this track when I was a child and it reminds me of that time, the emotions, the desires that I had then. In short it is a nostalgic one.’ A track with a heavy kick, teasing changes with the bpm and a sensual snare, leading to an endless, erotic-like frenzy.
