Jensen Interceptor is a firm favourite of the Bromance crew, supporting the likes of Brodinski, Gesaffelstein, The Hacker and Maelstrom and when it comes to the style of music that the aforementioned produce, Jensen is firmly in that pack.

His next three-tracker is a dark and devilish record that does little to inspire any light or sunshine but what it lacks in happiness, it makes up for in dark and brooding atmosphere.

Located beyond Neptune's orbit is the dwarf planet Haumea, the inspiration behind Rødhåd’s second release for Token. It follows his Spomeniks 12” from last year which the Berliner used to debut on the Belgian label, the only other imprint he’s released with other than his own Dystopian Records. Over the past three years Rødhåd’s reputation has sky-rocketed, not only as an accomplished producer with five releases to his name, but as a big room DJ whose formidable presence behind the decks demands as much respect as DVS1 and German big guns Dettmann and Klock.

No longer a newcomer to the scene, Rødhåd is now a respected staple of European techno and his three-track Haumea single features an alternative Dirt version of the title-track mixed by the Dystopian co-founder, and a second remix by Token mainstay Ø [Phase]. Rødhåd’s return to Token provides the label with their penultimate record before the unveiling of their landmark 50th release, Aphelion, a CD and triple vinyl showcase of new and exclusive material from label regulars and like-minded artists whom Token founder Kr!z specifically commissioned for the deluxe release.

Rødhåd’s return succeeds Surgeon’s official debut on Token earlier this month with his Fixed Action Pattern 12”, which first bore news of the Aphelion compilation, and here Rødhåd provides a linear alternative to the distorted, industrial dub of Anthony Child’s Token missive. “Haumea” is a bleepy production that straddles the divide between the Detroit techno of Jeff Mills and newer European interpretations mixed with coarse hi-hats that cut straight through the mix. The B-side’s Dirt version provides a minimal alternative which strips the original’s murky low end, and as a result emphasis falls on lucid drum machine programming which exhume alien bleeps from the deep. For some extra heat Ø [Phase] brings the booming sound of his Frames Of Reference LP to Haumea with a chugging remake courteously titled ‘Satellite remix’ complimenting the theme of this spacey record.

Katnada presents the first EP "Liminal Bloom'' on her new label, Divine Nature.
The EP is a reflection of her sonic identity — a fusion of raw emotion, meditative grooves, and ethereal vocals.

The journey begins with “Rhythm,” where her voice becomes a hypnotic chant — a hymn to rhythm itself. A minimal groove slowly expands into orchestral movements and emotional peaks, bringing into a full journey. The Edit version releases the orchestral rise and flows back into the stripped-down beat.

“Untamed” follows with a fluid, rolling groove, where all elements are elegantly woven together. The vocal evokes surrender to the course of this mysterious life, driven by a mystical pad that adds spaciousness and introspection.

“Aphrodite” slows the tempo into a sensual groove with a dreamy soundscape.

The EP includes a remix of “Rhythm” by End Train, who reimagines the track, transporting the vocal into a haunting new realm.

Berlin-based JakoJako has meticulously compiled this new compilation for Air Texture with the aim of spotlighting the deep bonds among hardware-focused producers. Featuring standout tracks from top dogs like Rødhåd, Acid Pauli and The Field, the collection reflects a shared musical language built through machines and their ability to convey the emotions of their human users, often with a rough, dusty edge that makes them all the more realistic. SHDW is the phantom moniker of Marco Bläsi, a Stuttgart native with a penchant for racing percussions and big room sounds. 2014 saw the beginning of his long-term partnership with like-minded techno dealer Obscure Shape (Luigi Urban), with whom he co-ran the party series and label spin-off From Another Mind. Ten years later and Bläsi has set out on his own journey, building on a decade-long legacy of sounds with just himself, ‘his music, decks, and a mixer’. Following on from his previous label, he founded Mutual Rytm in 2022, an outlet and creative platform focused on putting out the type of expansive techno SHDW’s come to be known for. His signature style a blend of intelligently superimposed and shuffling basslines, blink of an eye beats that elicit movement and social bonds. Unerring prime time techno, Bläsi’s path forward is looking promising, with a surge of Mutual Rytm releases and worldwide dates, the next ten years look set to further build on what he’s achieved since he started out. Could be a faded polaroid with dust on it, a single cloud in an otherwise clear sky, or a clap that sounds different each time it plays. There’s something about the unpredictability, the raw edges, that makes things feel more real. Especially in music, that’s what draws me in. So when Upperberry reached out, it felt like the right moment to gather tracks that carry that same imperfect energy and to explore my own path through sound, drifting from dub into house.
