Falling Out Of Time (International Version) is Mokhtar’s most expansive and emotionally layered work to date—a minimalist R&B album that speaks in three tongues and countless moods. Written in English, Tagalog, and Malay, the project transcends borders and time zones, capturing the universal ache of change, memory, and quiet rebellion.

Each track is a timestamp from a life lived in fragments:

• From the melancholic refusal in “Ayoko ng Sunset Ngayon” to the cinematic collapse of “The World Is Shaking”,
• From the nostalgic ache of “Childhood” to the poetic defiance of “Cutting My Hair at Home”,
• From the imagined escape in “Life in Another City” to the theatrical finality of “One Last Dance Before My Inevitable Death”,


The album moves like a slow dissolve—velvet vocals over ambient textures, lo-fi percussion, and lyrics that feel handwritten. It’s not just international in language, but in emotional reach: every song is a passport to a feeling you thought was yours alone.

This version is for the listener who’s lived in translation, who’s felt heartbreak in more than one language, who knows that time doesn’t heal—it distorts. Mokhtar doesn’t offer resolution. He offers resonance.
