Following on from Bass Agenda Vol 1 released in 2013 Vol 2 continues the theme; showcasing the talent of artists who appeared as guests on the Bass Agenda Radio Show in the last year or so.

Hailing from a galaxy far, far away, The Zenobit3 has been traveling around our solar system since 1993, taking on various incarnations to spread cosmic love through electronic music. Ollie bio:

Ollie is a DJ who approaches the craft with a dedication to digging deep. 

From his early days playing at free parties around southwest UK, he relocated to London, where he got to play at well-established clubs, such as Heaven and others that are long gone, like Herbal. 

A year or so spent working for Redeye Records took him further east to Ipswich, before life brought him back to London, these days regularly playing at Deptford’s Endeavor.

His sets navigate a wide spectrum of machine music, fused with underlying threads of syncopated rhythm, bass weight, and a distinct current of raw funk.

These unusual circumstances of recent months have left me with a desire to change up my listening and mixing habits. I'm getting properly back into my 90s techno, and a Dave Angel tribute mix has been on the to-do list for a while, so here it is. I'm sure you don't need me to introduce this prolific DJ and amazingly gifted producer - personally speaking I was a bit of a Dave Angel superfan back in the day, his jazzy techno sound is genuinely unique. In terms of his DJ selection I do prefer him slightly in melodic mode over banging, but the sets that spanned both were awesome, so that's what you're getting here. Enjoy!
