A newcomer on the Electro scene, Linnea Mae was introduced to underground electronic music in 2021 while she was living in Prague. She instantly fell in love with Electro, but has since noticed a lack of it being played in scenes across Europe and beyond, which motivated her to finally learn to play it herself earlier this year. Now based in Berlin, she hopes to share the strange and beautiful world of Electro with anyone who will listen.

She is specifically drawn to Electro for not only the way it makes her feel when she hears it and how it ignites a dancefloor - but also for its distinct themes and storytelling that she constantly discovers when finding new tracks. She feels that Electro is so much deeper than how amazing it sounds - it has the capacity to take you on a mission in outer space, make you feel like an alien, show you strange dystopian worlds, is abundant with connections to science and mathematics, and while it can range from deep and complex to silly and unserious - it’s always exciting.
