DVS NME - Golden Triangle

Less than one year after his 2019 release entitled ‘Trans Asia Express’, DVS NME returns with a collection of original tracks that were produced between 2018-2020. This 30-track album is a not-so-subtle nod to the Electro inspirations that have helped to influence the DVS NME sound that has developed over the course of the last 20 years. The most obvious influence is that of Detroit pioneers Drexciya and subsequent projects by Gerald Donald. The album pays homage to Dopplereffekt’s 1999 album ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’ in both its title and cover art. The release ranges from brooding, downtempo machine funk all the way to dancefloor-oriented melodic Electro. The album relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, and TR-909. DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 10 years. He shares his love of Electro music by posting Electro-affiliated news, art, mixes, albums, memes, concerts, tracks, gear and more. On his first release since 2014, @DVSNME has self-released a 15 track album featuring some of his most inspired music to date. This full-length effort pays homage to the traditional musical scales of Asian countries like Japan and China with a sonically varied collection of tracks that will leave the listener wanting more. Fresh new tracks from East London producer Heuristic Audio. Melodic and emotive driving tracks styled in a manner unique to Electro producers define this record.  Four tracks kicking off with "Death of a Star" already coined by Dj's such as Mark Broom.  Heavy break building bass lines culminating in a final peak of colliding melodies and haunting deep vocoder vocals. Strong clean percussion breaks throughout. 
  "Soul Frous" track A.2 follows up with cascading saw wave bass lines dropping down into the bass bins. Staccato rhythms and floating ghostly melodic constructions create a sense of suspense and drama throughout this track. 
  "Wisla" Kicks off with a hard driving breakbeat with fluctuating staccato melody's in the background with a huge bass line filling out the track. Cutting lead synth lines burst into the mix bringing it to a new level of suspense and mystery. this track is fat, break driven Electro with a heavy UK feel to it. Building and breaking down, and rebuilding again into different evolving mutation. A very personal and expressive experience for the listener. 
"Dawn Over the City" track B.2 brings a stunning end to this 4 track EP bound to make a dent in the History of Electro. Full on melodic and counter melodies, in the vain of Boards of Canada but rich in tonalities and variation constantly drinving forward through the mix with clean driving kicks and snare
