„When The Circus Comes To Town“ is a track I made in 2019. It’s about some of the things that went wrong (in my opinion) in the so called Techno scene, before the pandemic forced us to press the Pause button. 

When listening to it now, it maybe sounds kinda strange. On the other side, I think the risk of falling back into bad Business Techno habits once the situation is under control is quite high. 
I personally still hope some things will change in a positive way, 
for artists, venues, labels and music fans. 

„When The Circus Comes To Town“ was supposed to come out on an amazing label from France. I was super excited about this. 

But then my external external HD broke. Even though I was able to restore some stuff, a lot of files remain broke.  
Among those destroyed files were also many many files from 
my DAW, so a lot of unreleased and unfinished stuff I made in the past years 
is probably lost forever. 

That sucks, but I’m gonna record new music - for the French label and for you.

So I decided to upload the (of course unmastered) Mp3 of „When The Circus Comes To Town“ to my SoundCloud and make it a free download for you out there.

"777% live track from forthcoming Travelogue EP [out on 05/11/20]
Instruments: Roland AlphaJuno-2, Korg Wavestation SR, Kawai K11, Roland TR-606 and Elektron Digitakt.
Digitakt was used as sampler (of course), midi source to run all the synths above though Kawai MAV8 and clock generator for TR-606. 
For reverb and delay effect I was using Alesis Midiverb 2 and ART Multiverb Alpha.
No backlines were used, whole track was recorded straight from Mackie VLZ-1604Pro.

Andrey Sinitsin (sin:it:sin) is a producer from Moscow and he started his musical journey as a drummer in a rock band. However, he has always been interested in experimenting with different genres, including electronic music. His interest in electronic music led him to dive deeper into the production realm of music creation and he began to understand how his favorite tracks were made. With this insight, he began writing music himself. He now mainly focuses on creating electro, techno, and IDM.
