For this @DarkScienceElectro Rewind we take a listen to a track from @kan3da originally from his debut album on Transient Force.

Swedish artist Kan3da has always had a way of making emotionally charged Electro music that cuts straight to my heart. When I first heard this album in 2008 I felt like it needed its own genre. Kan3da's music has all the charm of New Romantic music with the cold sounds of Gerald Donald. The track that I chose to highlight has been played out by me so many times that I couldn't possibly count. This album was re-released by Kan3da after the collapse of Transient Force.

We all know electro started with futurism and well, this work is pure futurism. Each cut is a trip into his restless creativity. Each track is a mind altering exploration of a deeply cinematic soundscape with a massive number of elements perfectly fused together with his "one of a kind" sci-fi aestethic that immediately pulls you out of the schemes. Caustic distortions, post industrial environments, mind expanding electronics and primitive drum patterns are only the main elements of this sci-fi masterpiece. There is no "Detroit Nostalgia" in it. This is sonic militance. The same that inspired the originators back in the days. When you play it, time runs faster and future looks closer. We are on board, but Galaxian is the only pilot of the ship.

PREMIERE: Featherstone - Flight Path (Ernest's Way)

Gladio Operations label presents its ninth release, with volume 2 of the Split Machine series, which this time features two new and recognised faces on the European and American electro scene.

One of these new faces is producer Noamm. This Greek artist, who has releases on such respected labels as Bass Agenda and Fundamental Records, opens the EP with "Clone Machine" and "Scientific Technological Device", two excellent rough and pragmatic tracks which link perfectly with “Verruckter Wissenschaftler”. The latter track, a fast-paced cut impregnated with tasty dark textures, perfectly defines the talent of the Hellenic producer. 

The B-side bears the signature of Brice Kelly, who also debuts on Gladio Operations and gifts us three fantastic, enveloping, and melodic tracks. The American producer kicks off with “Beings of Alpha”, a deep and very well-constructed journey that gives way to “If You Don't Think Like Us”. 
We really like it, even more so if it is accompanied by an elegant vocoder and enigmatic strings. Lastly, we arrive at “Powers That Be”, the closing track of the album, where we can perceive a cut of aggressive bass lines and gloomy textures, well aligned with well-chosen robotic vocals.

Chtih w Rdih is a five-track sonic exploration of a fractured psyche navigating the modern world. It captures the central duality of the uncontrollable hustle and creative mania of the city, contrasted with an unbothered state of effortlessly flowing through chaos.

The EP reflects this internal conflict through a powerful fusion of explosive breakbeats and deep, hypnotic grooves. Intricate Arabic percussion and melancholic melodies from the oud, violin, and qanun are woven throughout, creating a soundscape that is both ancient and futuristic. The project is a journey from overwhelming external stimuli to an unshakable internal calm.
