For this @DarkScienceElectro installment of 'Electro Rewind' we take a solemn listen to a track from the debut release by Maltese producer @Microlith

Sadly the same way that I, personally, barely got to know him in the years that I knew him, the world of Electro lost an amazing talent in February of 2017 when he was taken far too early at the age of 24. In the time he was able to, he produced some of the lushest, most thoughtful, emotional Electro music that I have ever heard. I will forever be grateful for his presence within the community and the amazing music he produced during his time.

Electro Rewind: Microlith - Sky Envelopes (2014)

Simona Dellamorte is a dj and producer based in Haarlem, The Netherlands. She is currently performing around Europe with her sci/fi, cyberpunk-inspired solo project: Feralia Planitia. Her eponymous debut EP, released at the end of 2021, was well received by the press and the public, and it is still being aired by electronic music radio programs around the world. Dellamorte’s compositions evoke the diverse styles of electronic music she loves, Ebm, industrial and electro, but at the same time it sounds highly personal and original. Using a mix of hardware, software synths and percussions, she creates entrancing tracks with a futuristic, dystopian feel, bolstered by captivating rhythms that are never obvious.
