For this @DarkScienceElectro Rewind we check in with @The-Exaltics - Rob started his career as a resident DJ at the Club Kassablanca in Jena, where he performed with big players such as Robert Hood, Jeff Mills and Claude Young.  Robert founded the project @The-Exaltics in 2006 as well as the Electro/Techno label SolarOneMusic with his long-term friend Nico Jagiella. Since then he published countless 12"s and several LPs with labels like Clone, Crème Organization, Bunker, or his own label @Solar_One_Music and worked during that time with outstanding artists like Gerald Donald, Helena Hauff, or ERP for example. He turned his deep cinematic and most of all charismatic Electro into his own trademark. Another signature is his special dark-driven Acid Techno. During his intense live performances, Robert presents his unique version of Electro and Acid music.

D.Vices is a recording project of Portland-based producer, DJ, labelhead, and promoter, Jack Coleman aka JAK. Following his 2020 “The Heist” EP on Resource Records, which reached the #1 release sales position on the Beatport electro (classic/detroit/modern) category, as well as well received EPs on Woodwork Recordings and UKR, he makes his debut appearance on Treavor Moontribe’s (aka PheuZen’s) Alien Breakdance label. The Made of Stardust EP features two D.Vices originals and a remix by German electro artist Dibu-Z.

This week we check in with relative newcomer DJ @vaaskys

Crime (the man behind @FearNoSystem) is a DJ, which gets his inspiration from old Detroit's sound and aesthetic. His sound combines fast tempo Electro with groovy techno. In his DJ sets he is known for his deep basslines and kicks, which create an experimental mood, but at the same time is rhythmic. After creating the Georgian-based label 'Fear No System' he is focused on modernizing the Old-School Electro aesthetic into contemporary terms.
