Following the release of Twisted Heads comes Slacker’s most complete work to date. 
The artists debut LP - What Would I Do With Saturn - arrives on Lobster Theremin in late July and demonstrates Slacker’s killer ear for capturing the cross-sections that exist within UK sound; floating between the artist's drum & bass upbringing and introspective, world-building electronica. 


“The main idea was to think 'what would an outside observer to our planet think when looking down at this moment in time, what does the moon think when looking down on us?'” he says. “It was a way of me both building another world whilst also expressing the strife of the world that we were living in. I was lucky enough to be quite secluded in the first lockdown around a lot of nature, but then feeling the isolation ten-fold as I was so far away from civilisation. I think that the album has this schism represented in it with the more classically "nice" tracks standing next to the more aggressive and expressive tracks; it is both an escape and capturing of the world we live in.”

Metatone is a tonic-containing substance used to help restore health and vitality after illnesses or when you are feeling tired. A metaphor, which perfectly describes Ement's debut album -a mixture of peak-time electro/techno tunes spiced up with the modern traces of EBM, which perfectly fits clubs and festivals. It is a personal dancefloor experience materialization of a non-stop party rebel, who started his music production journey in the periphery and got inspired by his brother's hard dance production experiments. After an intensive exploration of the local and foreign club scene through years of intensive djing, remixing and never-ending afterhours, Ement finalized his recent definition of dance, which launches on the new co-curated PZ Records label.

An unexpected break and a long-lasting limbus of the dancefloor consumption turned out as a perfect slot to reveal one of many underestimated Lithuanian producers, who are too shy and too critical to themselves. It's no fiction, as "How Much Is Too Much" was already noticed and compiled by Dave Clark in his "Whitenoise" radio show.

Sasha Rajkovich, aka Zarkoff, member of Sumerian Fleet, NauGrau, FFFC, Kali jugend and other collaborations, has been active in underground music since the mid 90s. EBM, acid and electro are most frequently visited genres in his musical output, with occasional drifts into post punk or techno. He also likes to express himself through lyrics, influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Philip K. Dick or Vladimir Mayakovskij.
For this new EP, he delivers four cold and melancholic synth-electro tracks, inspired by Old Testament and Gnostic teachings about the nature of the Demiurge. All the vocoded and speech synthethised lyrics are direct quotes from King James translation of the Holy Bible. No comments have been provided by the author, only musical context, so listeners will be free to interpret it however they want.

For our next @DarkScienceElectro premiere, we dive into the latest release from French producer @Djedjotronic. 

For their 0100010th release, @CPUrecords bring us the powerful work of @Djedjotronic. This four track EP is as straight-forward Electro as it gets. I had a hard time selecting a track to premiere but eventually landed on '#1#0#2'. Clocking in at 130 BPM, this track absolutely glistens with the kind of Electro you have learned to expect from both Djedjotronic as well as the consistent output of @CPUrecords. This track features steady rhythms with an almost motorik feel, driven by custom samples via the Analog Rytm. The brilliantly spaced-out synth sounds in the song were made using Roland SH-01 and the Access Virus. This is one you don't want to miss. The record is available for pre-order now and will officially be released on November 23, 2018.
