Landes: The Misunderstood Genius

Debuting with comparable lyrics to J-Cole, a similar flow in the manner of Kendrick Lamar, or even vividly displaying the daily struggles of life like Big Krit. ,Timothy-James Yllandes "Landes" Brown has set out to create his own voice. 

On November 21, 1990, in the Blues and Barbecue heritage city of Kansas City, Missouri Landes was birthed into his art. During his childhood years, others thought Landes would be anything from a doctor to an Aerospace Engineer based on his advance intelligence. While growing up as multi-talented child Landes discovered his passion for music at the tender age of 12 (With the name Chuck-T). As he grew older, wiser, and more mature with his music, he changed his name from "Chuck-T" to "Landes" which of course derived from his middle name. Determined to debut his music soon, in August 2011 Landes released his first mix tape entitled "Landes Plane" Though this mix tape was equipped with appreciated tracks such as "Losing My Balance" (August 2011) , it's sound did not display the type artist Landes wanted to be perceived as. 

After taking a step back and being musically inclined, Landes is ready to come back more driven as ever with his first LP entitled "Carpe Diem" (Spring 2014). On this project Landes will be displaying how he is building his art on his philosophy, which he shared is that "My music represents stories retold and people who struggle on the daily to live right and find greater purpose in life than the humane surroundings that have been placed upon them." While this project will be some of Landes most profound work, it will just be the platform for his upcoming project, which is entitled "Premeditated Suicide". 

Becoming the artist he his there were many odds against him such relationships, urban environment, and statistics. In his work Landes acknowledges and reveals these trails and his testimony. Landes has set out his own goals, which he says " To reach the world with my story and to inspire young woman and men to unify as one and be someone great. Leave a positive legacy to our young generation and to force them to THINK before acting and to explore life in ways that you never could of imagined." You might see Landes on his childhood block of South Benton or on the fabulous scenes of Los Angeles, regardless with the optimism of this artist he has made it evident that he will never go unnoticed or unheard.


Twenty-four-year-old artist, singer, songwriter Ayzha Nyree is bringing a new look and sound to popular hip-hop/R&B. Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, this charismatic soul queen started her musical journey at age nine, performing in local talent shows and singing covers of powerful female artists like Aaliyah, Alicia Keys, and Whitney Houston. Years of writing, recording, and developing her craft have led her to Los Angeles, where she now calls home with her two brothers.
 
Identifiable through her infections melodies, clever rhythmic cadences, and unique raspy tone, Ayzha describes herself as a cross between Jhene Aiko and Gunna: infusing R&B, rap, and rhythmic elements into her sound.
 
Ayzha’s remix of Chris Brown’s “No Guidance” is her most explosive viral moment to date, starting on Tik Tok but organically crossing all platforms. Her debut single “T.L.C” (to be released in Nov. 2020) will serve as the precursor to a full length project coming in 2021.
 
With all of life’s challenges, Ayzha considers music her sanctuary and continues to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. “I always say music is a universal language, full of vibration and energy” she explains. “I want my music to make people feel happy, confident, and self-aware.”
