Excerpted from a complete performance in collaboration with the Amherst College Choral Society, the exciting second movement of the Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi as performed by the Amherst Symphony Orchestra.

Verdi Requiem: "Dies Irae"

This is a MIDI mockup of Sergei Prokofiev's "Montagues and Capulets" from "Romeo and Juliet". A huge thank you to Dario Gadosa (https://www.youtube.com/@DarioGadosa/videos) for putting up the MIDI file up on Musescore. My work after downloading the MIDI file (for those who are not familiar, it contains only the bare notes) was creating the CC1 and CC11 automation, and of course adding my virtual instruments and fine tune all the tracks to make them sound as good as possible in Cubase Pro 15 and master it in Wavelab Pro 12.

SHOSTAKOVICH: String Quartet No. 8 in C Minor, Op. 110: II. Allegro molto - Quatuor Danel

"Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" is a famous musical composition for the organ. Composed by the Baroque maestro Bach, the piece is regarded as being the virtuoso's signature. Renowned for its regal and majestic resonance, dramatic command and titular opening motif, this piece  reveals the mastery of the performer's "touch" upon the organ's keys through its poignant and swiftly paced arpeggios. In western culture, the piece has developed an association with horror movies.
