Pianist Bill Anschell’s concert credits include six European tours with vocalist Nnenna Freelon and six South American tours leading his own trio. He is also highly regarded as a composer; his original pieces have been heard on NBC’s “The West Wing,” HBO’s “The Wire,” and the CBS series “NCIS:  Los Angeles.” Anschell, a Seattle native, returned to the Emerald city in 2002 after a long residency in Atlanta.  He received Golden Ear Awards as the “Northwest Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year” in 2005, 2010 and 2011; his trio was named “Northwest Acoustic Jazz Ensemble of the Year” in 2006; and his CD “Figments” won “Northwest Jazz Recording of the Year” in 2011.  

Josh Rawlings is one of most sought after performing and studio musicians in the Pacific Northwest today. Rolling Stone described his piano playing on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ Billboard Top-20 Single “Downtown” as a “bombastic, theatrical piano breakdown.” He’s also the featured pianist on their powerful single “Same Love.” Josh has toured throughout the United States and Europe with Macklemore, emerging Soul/R&B sensation Allen Stone and performed with numerous groups including NW favorite super group Industrial Revelation. Josh is a graduate of Cornish College of the Arts and is currently active as a Producer, Studio Musician and Songwriter in Seattle.
