Dakota, is an exploration of honesty combined with ambient sounds in hopes to recreate feelings of passion, love and heartbreak. Growing up in an era of music that emphasized ‘wearing your heart on your sleeve’ and ‘starving’ for the attention of a loved one, Dakota revisits this vulnerability to deliver songs built on raw truth. It is more about the music and the picture it creates for the listener than anything. Currently in the process of recording their first solo EP, with plans to release Fall '13, while working alongside good friends, Matt Wilbur (Woodale) and Aaron Marsh (Copeland) at The Vanguard Room. The past two years have been about gaining recording experience, developing musical abilities and character; to create music that lasts far after the song has been sung. Growing up influenced by faith and rural life, music started becoming as necessary as breathing.

The Company Stores are a Hill Hop/Roots Rock band from Charleston, WV, that smoothly blends elements of many genres of southern music. They pull inspiration from styles such as Delta blues, Appalachian folk, gospel, jazz, and other Americana music, then layer in their own modern styles and rhythms. Vocalist Casey Litz's sultry and soulful voice captivates the audience, while the band lays down bluesy grooves between dynamic builds.
