Conversation avec le Maxi-monstre (I et II)

Awase (se prononce « aouassé ») vient du verbe awaseru en japonais qui signifie joindre, unir.
Ces trois amis s'associent autour d'une vision commune du jazz : un certain goût pour la liberté, l'épure, révéler le côté limpide de cette musique. Une conversation instrumentale où les musiciens abordent et déconstruisent dans la joie diverses pièces du répertoire ainsi que des compositions personnelles.

"Nublós", nébuleux, nuageux ou obscur en occitan est un morceau fait de choses simples et répétitives. Il est plus le fruit de ma pratique quotidienne de la guitare, de notes qui tombent sous les doigts et que je trouve jolies, que d'un réel travail de composition acharné. D'ailleurs, il est en partie improvisé, la forme n'étant pas spécialement fixe.
Comme une sorte de méditation instrumentale, quoi !
Il inaugure une nouvelle playlist, " Des choses simples" que j'alimenterai au cours du temps avec des morceaux aux formats courts constitués d'un ou deux instruments, pas plus.

Mike James, breton d'origines galloise et londonienne, et Dylan James, né en Bretagne, sont père et fils, chanteurs et musiciens, dont les vies ont toujours tourné autour de la musique. Au fil des années ils en sont venus à partager ces chants et ces airs des Iles britanniques et de Bretagne qu'ils ont rassemblés sur leur premier album en duo: DYMA. "Voici" en langue galloise.  
Des chants qui les ont accompagnés tout au long de leur vie, « comme des fantômes qui vivent parmi les notes et les mots », des « présences bienveillantes ». Chantés, rechantés, déchantés, de la transmission orale en dialogue qui marche dans les deux sens, flux et reflux avec les sons créés. Comme une respiration.

The Stellar Transitions adventure started three years ago, with the beginning of the "Stellar Series" podcast channel, dedicated to the exploration of ambient, drone and experimental music related to the hypnotic techno scene. Now as there's almost 50 episodes on the channel, it's time to unveil the second part of the adventure. Here is the very first release of the Stellar Transitions music label.

This is the first chapter of a new serie of V.A. releases with tracks from artists that have already contributed to the podcast channel in the past. You have to know, Stellar Transitions is a project about light - this serie will tell the spiritual story of the light through a 24-hour earth day.

The first track, from french Martin Goodwin, is a solar track that evolves between distant noise, organic drones and a big work on the textures.
The second, from french Adhémar, is a 10 minutes meditative ambient track that inspire to an exploration on the deeper side of your inner self. Close your eyes.
With the third from another french as Vâyu, the first light of the day starts to appear. The beautiful synth pads, the sparkling percs and the moving bassline leads you to a transcendental journey.
The fourth and last is from serbian Zhe Pechorin, and its name, "On My Way to Home", sounds like an evidence at the listening : this emotive, soothing ambient track is the accurate soundtrack to the end of a long night, at the moment where you see the first sunbeams on the way back to home. A beautiful epilogue to the journey.

Now, the dawn breaks.

Martin is a French producer working as a sound engineer on various electronic music related projects. Having released on multiple labels such as @silent-season, @alexandarsound, @northallsenrecords, & more, he's always looking for new ways to shape the sound of Dub Techno, his main influence.

In this mix he put some ambient goodies collected during this past year, creating a dreamy delicate atmosphere to make listeners sitting back and relax or keep the music in the background for focus time. Enjoy!
