[TN024] RNGD & Eg0n - Undetected EP

With TN024, another split EP hits the surface, this time a southern European get together between the Spanish RNGD and the Portugese Eg0n. Both of whom are delivering some fast paced, high quality techno cuts that instantly remind you of basements filled with nothing but strobes and smoke.

RNGD starts off with lots of energy in ‘Through Fire’, a lethal cocktail of high energy and rumbling kicks, leaving no room for breath. His second track ‘Invisible Structures’ delivers more of where that came from, only adding panning white noise and other stretched glitches to the equation.

Eg0n proves to be a perfect match for that, his ‘Namcom’ introduces a tighter vibe without compromising in terms of power. ‘System 12.5’ makes for this instalment’s perfect outro, bringing the first and only distant melody into play, supported by old school drum machine funk.

With all that summed up, Undetected EP paves the way for the club season in a proper fashion, providing one of this fall’s earliest full throttle EPs so far.

Eg0n - Namcom

Illegal Alien Records is a Mexican record label focused on Techno, Electronica, Experimental and Ambient music. The label was founded by the Mexican Ricardo Garduno in 2007, in Florida. Today, Dig-it, DJ Saint Pierre, Fixeer, Fixon, Mari Mattham and Unkle Fon have also joined the project.
Together they curate the label, as well as its positioning within the worldwide Electronic music panorama.
The name ‘Illegal Alien’ was adopted because that was the status granted by the US government to Ricardo Garduno when he lived in the United
States. At that time, all the immigrants who entered the country illegally were denominated like that. As a result of this, the rights of all illegal
immigrants were limited or nulled in many cases. Therefore, by giving this name to the label, they honour the world's immigrants, who flee their homes for a better life.
Today the label is based in Mexico and has a digital platform, which has counted with the participation of established and upcoming artists. On the other hand, the label has the platform ILLEGAL ALIEN LTD, focused on releasing vinyl, CD and Cassette editions. The ILLEGAL
ALIEN BLACK LABEL platform represents a raw and distorted sound.

Today, we premiere a track from the Second edition of Illegal Alien LTD, a Various Artists Compilation Series called 'Between Lands & Oceans'. This series will become an annual compilation, released in three formats; CD, vinyl and cassette. 
The first volume includes exclusive tracks from Abstract Division, CRAVO, CSSS, Dig-it, Divide, DJ Saint Pierre, Fabrizio Lapiana, Fixeer, Fixon, Hattori Hanzō, Hektor Legion, Javier Gantz, Magdalena, Mari Mattham, Merino, MSDMNR, Nørbak, Nothing Is Real, Oliver Rosemann, Ricardo Garduno, The Advent, Translate & Pulso, Unkle Fon, Vinicius Honorio
and Wrong Assessment.


The track premiered is the  'Sin 113' by Hektor Legion. A bouncy kick, with a furious synth pad,  causing chaos at its passing and fearlessly changing direction towards an unknown territory—a kick-focused, driving techno track with all the distorted elements in the background causing a physical sense of disorientation.

The Berlin-based artist is releasing under the Belgian imprint Arkham Audio, which Cri Du Coeur heads. 
The label embarks on delivering forward-thinking and uns- hackled techno sounds. 
'The B-S Track' begins with rumbling jungle-like drums juxtaposed against a bleeping machine infused synth. 
The bleeps and bloops develop until it sounds like a conversation with a droid. Eventually ensnared by tingling hats, it continues to rise with plenty of body.

Who are you? What do you do? 
I grew up with music, music has been around as long as I can remember. In a later stage of my life I completed my music education. By reflecting the music I received from my family into my professional dj life I learned a lot about music and life. But I am aware that I am still able to learn and experience so much because the world of music is endless and you can always discover something new. 

If you were an animal, which one would you be? 
I love the panda, but if I wanted to be born as an animal, I would prefer to be an underwater creature. Because there are still unexplored oceans and that is another way of life. So my choice would be the dolphin, which is both intelligent and very capable of analyzing danger. 

 If music wouldn’t exist, which job would you like to do?
If music wouldn’t exist, I would definitely want to be the person who created the characters in cartoons or animated films. It would be fun to bring these characters to life and embellish every child's imagination.
