This year at Burning Man we were gifted an incredible opportunity by our friend The Festival Guy to perform a secret set at Camp Ego Trip as Daft Punk - complete with helmets and all! We had 45mins to put our spin on things and somehow managed to keep it a total secret this entire time. Easily one of the coolest experiences we've had after 3 years at the Burn and being DP fans for as long as we can remember. Big love to our funk brotha GRiZ for rocking live Sax with us at the very end. Enjoy :)

Late last year, Key-G returned to Desert Trax with his Curled Up Dimensions EP. This summer, Desert Dwellers' label assembles some of the best rising stars and established veterans in the psybreaks and psydub realms for a jam-packed remix collection. 

Standouts from this new remix EP include a sprawling 11-minute journey from UK legend Globular on “Unleashing the Forces.” Instead of slowing things down like they did for their new duo project, Jakare, Halfred and Lo.Renzo return to their midtempo psy roots with remixes of “Quantum Strikes” and “Ascension Upgrade,” respectively. Newcomer Johny Pablo impresses with the “Pinpricks of Light” remix, and Key-G takes on his own “Third Eye Girl” to close out the set.

Curled Up Remixes is out July 26th on Desert Trax.

"Presenting 'Bouncy Tales'; the new four-track EP from Halfred, centered around the artist's whimsically cheerful sound. The opening track 'Slowctopus' is a bubbly halftime banger, sounding as oddly fun as a slimy sea creature moonwalking on the ocean bed, while 'Outta The Cave Man' takes the same tone and applies it to a pre-historic cabaret kind of setting. Snowons (VIP) is a polished rendition of Halfred's first contribution to Outtallectuals in 2015, upgraded for modern clarity, while Chuggington's heavier sound comes through the collaboration with producer, Know Matter. Overall, the EP's half-time / glitch DnB aura is crafted for light moments on dancefloors while maintaining the technical bass music production firmly in tact."

Beginning the new decade with typical panache and vibrancy, 2020 sees the return of Rise and Fall to Particles as his brand-new three-track EP celebrates "Time".

An artist of considerable renown and over a double century of production credits to his name, Anton Vishniakov has continued to produce a veritable smorgasbord of progressive house and techno through his Rise and Fall moniker. Marking a bright debut with "The Glow" for Monster Deep in April 2013, support came from industry leaders including Max Graham, Hernan Cattaneo and Jerome Isma-Ae. A swathe of original and remix material followed for such high-profile imprints as JOOF, Colore and a century of credits for Bonzai Progressive. Furthermore, June 2019 saw impressive victory in Quivver's "8 Bit Eclipse" remix competition with an ensuing release on the UK artist's Controlled Substance label.

A regular on Particles since debuting on the "Winter 2014" compilation in February 2014, "The Vision" and "Traffic Lights" EP continued to showcase Rise and Fall's original productions. Remixes of Biologik, Derek Howell, Michael A and Andre Sobota in April 2019 showcased another side to Vishniakov's production talents, and we are therefore delighted to see Rise and Fall return to Particle once more with "Time".

Opener, "Density" is a chunky percussive gem that revels in strong beat, upfront hi-hats and rolling bassline groove. A central arpeggio sumptuously filters into range as the track progresses and a glorious new bassline progression makes its presence felt at the mid-point before erupting into a seething, hypnotic dancefloor destroyer.

"Reaction" begins in more considered fashion with its laidback groove and subtle off-beat hats. A perfectly syncopated bassline adds a mesmerising flow to proceedings as a swathe of textured pads and rippling arpeggio motif provide mid-range dynamism. A swirling breakdown full of white-noise washes and never-ending delays provides a moment melodic magic before Rise and Fall's production charm sees the hypnotic groove return in the third movement.

The title track is an eight-minute jewel that sparkles with a rich melodic narrative. White-noise swells across the left-right spectrum in front of heavy beat and subtle percussive groove while a trademark arpeggio rises and falls with intensity. A bassline phrase supplies rich melodic progression as the track opens up post-breakdown and multiple layers of textured pads add depth and power to the immaculately crafted "Time".

Opening a new decade in elegant fashion, "Time" certainly does not stand still for Rise and Fall.

BIOGRAPHY:

Dynamic Illusion, also known as Daniel Gyarmati, was born in 1985 in Szombathely, Hungary. Music has been a part of his life since his childhood years. His father’s loves of music also infected him in his early years with his old vinyl classics like Kraftwerk and Jean Michell Jarre.

Daniel spent eight years honing his musical talent at a music conservatory, playing for the local orchestra. After getting his first PC at age 13, he began to discover the musical possibilities of the computer, composing his first pieces of music. At the same time, he became exposed to the DJ scene, attending parties and becoming influenced by the energetic tech sounds of Dave Clark, Chris Liebing, and Umek, as well as the progressive music of DJs like John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and Max Graham.

Daniel’s musical obsession made him search his inner self for something unique. He was torn: he still loved the energy that techno gave him, but at the same time felt that the genre was regressing. He was in dire need of change and found his real love: progressive house. This was music where you could combine funk, drive, melodies, ass-shaking beats, and awkward sounds all in one, rather than using a single formula that he had grown tired of.

Nowadays he got more than 100 tracks released and many are feedbacked and played by the biggest names from the scene like Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Moshic, Quivver, Solarstone, Lemon8, Jaytech, Fernando Ferreyra, Michael & Levan, Faskil, Kintar and many more...

Besides his work as a producer, Daniel is also credited as being an excellent DJ. His sets these days are as diverse as his productions, blending progressive, breaks, and deep house into a very distinct and atmospheric sound. 

He has been featured with exclusive mixsets on every month, at Frisky Radio (Mindfields) where the intelligent dance music gets the leading part, with co-host Retroid. 

At 2012 he started his own record label called Deep Dive, that is focused for deep house music, and at 2013 the sublabel called Star Dive, wich is the place for he's progressive and break expressions.
