SPOTLIGHT On FRAMEWERK Selected By Juliusz Majcher

Nehéz lesz szavakba önteni az első reggel élményét...De azért megpróbálom! 😇 Szóval vak sötétből indultam neki a mixnek, Quantum Progress remek progi szettje után, egy maréknyi mosolygós, többnyire külföldi arccal a tánctéren... 

Ami nem is volt meglepő mert maga a beach és az Everness Garden a SZiGET legészakibb pontján volt, nettó 20 perc sétára minden "main" stage-től. De mint utóbb kiderült, pont ez lett a varázsa a helyszínnek, ugyanis amikor a szett második felére kanyarodtunk, a hátam mögött a Duna felett elkezdett pitymallani és fokozatosan festette át a természet a pszihedelikus UV dekót, nappali pompába. Fantasztikus volt. 🌅 

Ahogyan az is, ahogy kb fél óra alatt a napfelkeltében gyönyörködni vágyó SZiGET lakók ellepték a táncteret előttünk, és olyan hangulat kerekedett amire egyikőnk sem számított szerintem! A második óra kezdetére abban a megtiszteltetésben volt részem ,hogy ezzel a rengeteg ölelkező, csókolózó, fülig érő szájjal táncoló emberkével együtt bulizhattam bele magamat a napfelkeltébe. 

Iszonyat hálás vagyok minden pacsiért, kedvességért és szurkolásért, és azért is ,hogy sokaknak én mutathattam meg mi az a progressive house, és hogy mifelénk hogyan űzik ezt az ipart. 😎 Olasz, német, francia, holland, mexikói, norvég, spanyol, de még kaliforniai arcokkal is beszéltem a szett után. 

Minden sztereotípiát szeretnék lerombolni és a felelősséget vissza helyezni a dj pultokba. Ugyanis pillanatok alatt kapcsolódtak a partizók a dallamokkal, érzelmekkel (kiállásokkal!) tűzdelt "történet mesélős" szetthez. 

Hálás vagyok a szervezőknek ezért a különleges lehetőségért, a közönségnek az energiákért, a producereknek a remek dalokért, és a szüleimnek, hogy átadták a zene iránti őszinte szeretetet és szenvedélyt! ❤  🎶 ❤ 

Aki bátorkodik belevágni ebbe a közel 3 órába, annak jó utat és élményekkel teli zene-rezgés-töltekezést kívánok! 😍😇🙏

Sofa Beats is back with its 5th edition, this time compiled and mixed by a veteran from Cyprus, JOHNNY BLUE.

Johnny Blue comes from Cyprus. He started dj-ing 16 years ago. His first influence was rock and especially psychedelic rock (Pink Floyd, Ozric Tenatcles etc). In 2000 he got into the electronic scene with the main interest in chill out and psychedelic trance music. Being influenced by several music cultures (rock, dub, reggae, electronica, psy-trance, chillout), Johnny created a unique style by blending smoothly various styles of music, sending the listeners to a colourful and sensational journey through sounds. Johnny is one of the senior representatives on the launch, establishment and uprising of Cyprus’ psychedelic music scene.
In 2011 Johnny joined Mikelabella Records and he works as A/R Manager. His first VA compilation under the name “Planet Blue” was released on December 2012 and VA blue moon in April 2014. In early 2013 he became a label DJ in Peak Records. Also, he is a resident DJ at Digitally Imported Psychill (di.fm/psychill) with his radio series “Psylent Harmony” which is broadcasted every third Sunday. Johnny Blue has various international appearances in countries like UK, Germany, Portugal, Croatia , Morocco, Turkey and Russia among others, presenting dj sets in parties and festivals like Boom, Antaris, Lost Theory, Transahara, Mo:Dem, Psy Fi and more.

BIOGRAPHY:

Dynamic Illusion, also known as Daniel Gyarmati, was born in 1985 in Szombathely, Hungary. Music has been a part of his life since his childhood years. His father’s loves of music also infected him in his early years with his old vinyl classics like Kraftwerk and Jean Michell Jarre.

Daniel spent eight years honing his musical talent at a music conservatory, playing for the local orchestra. After getting his first PC at age 13, he began to discover the musical possibilities of the computer, composing his first pieces of music. At the same time, he became exposed to the DJ scene, attending parties and becoming influenced by the energetic tech sounds of Dave Clark, Chris Liebing, and Umek, as well as the progressive music of DJs like John Digweed, Sasha, Dave Seaman, and Max Graham.

Daniel’s musical obsession made him search his inner self for something unique. He was torn: he still loved the energy that techno gave him, but at the same time felt that the genre was regressing. He was in dire need of change and found his real love: progressive house. This was music where you could combine funk, drive, melodies, ass-shaking beats, and awkward sounds all in one, rather than using a single formula that he had grown tired of.

Nowadays he got more than 100 tracks released and many are feedbacked and played by the biggest names from the scene like Nick Warren, Jody Wisternoff, Moshic, Quivver, Solarstone, Lemon8, Jaytech, Fernando Ferreyra, Michael & Levan, Faskil, Kintar and many more...

Besides his work as a producer, Daniel is also credited as being an excellent DJ. His sets these days are as diverse as his productions, blending progressive, breaks, and deep house into a very distinct and atmospheric sound. 

He has been featured with exclusive mixsets on every month, at Frisky Radio (Mindfields) where the intelligent dance music gets the leading part, with co-host Retroid. 

At 2012 he started his own record label called Deep Dive, that is focused for deep house music, and at 2013 the sublabel called Star Dive, wich is the place for he's progressive and break expressions.
