I remixed Sasha's "Wavy Gravy" as part of the remix competition back in 2002. I thought I would put it here as an aged demo track.

Sasha - Wavy Gravy remix

Inspired by the rainy season before summer, Masanori Yasuda is back with the new original track “Ajisai”, its name is taken from a Japanese native blue-purpled flower.

Along with the delicate flavor, the original mix gives relaxed beats and reminds us a scene in a rainy day. In the dusky sound elements, the emotional piano stands out brilliantly against the background. By adding the gentle synths and the dreamy pads, the track leads to create a space of soothing calm. 

Shingo Nakamua's remix maximizes the original piano phrases at its highest performance in the track by means of Shingo's quality sound textures, which has already proved at his recent album "Days". After the drop, the bassline switches its sequence wisely then dramatize the perfect climax.

Talented new artist from Japan Atsushi Hashimoto, or Asioto, revives the dream house sound that Robert Miles was globally renowned for. Soft synthesizer effects, a thematic piano, and ambient soundscapes characterize the sound of Asioto.  

⇘After the Rain⇙
Asioto interweaves dreams and melody into a halcyonic audible quilt. Diaphanous pads, pianos and strings, and an ethereal rhythm breathe life into this atmosphere track.

⇘Clouds Flowing⇙
Imagine soaring through boundless skies, weightless, with only the wind beneath your wings. Freedom, nature, and tranquility are the elemental forces that drive these melodic flowing clouds. They are compositely expressed through atmospheric pads, piano keys, and an ethereal bass line rhythm. 

⇘Starting Over⇙
After the passing of flowing clouds and ensuing rejuvenating rains, it’s time for a fresh start. Soft synthesizer effects comprise much of the melody over an ethereal bass line rhythm, and distinctly in place of a piano, are the guitar strums which add its own pleasant serenity.

It doesn’t get much bigger than this: Adam Beyer links up with Green Velvet and Drumcode’s outstanding rising star Layton Giordani for a debut collaboration.

Some musical partnerships feel fated. Both fans of one another’s work, for years Adam Beyer and Green Velvet had discussed writing music together. In turn, Beyer’s protégé Layton Giordani had admired the Chicagoan’s work for as long as he could remember. When the 25-year-old found himself playing alongside the green mohawked legend at Belfast’s Shine, the spark and subsequent friendship was immediate. With the links now set in place, it was only a matter of time before the trio’s creative chemistry would manifest musically.

‘Space Date’ was conceived organically and birthed quickly. Propelled by Green Velvet’s trademark vocal hypnotism, the triumvirate combine to craft a pumping intergalactic slice of techno laced in melody that’s highlighted sets by Beyer at Awakenings, Ushuaia and also EDC Vegas when Green Velvet dropped it to a raucous response. The track is complimented by ‘Rome Future’, the product of a year-long series of productions between Beyer and Giordani. Deftly combining crisp drum work, catchy vocal effects and a powerful bassline melody that gives the track an almighty kick, it will be familiar to many who’ve followed their sets over recent months.

Showcasing his ever-evolving sound palette, Jason Ross continues to broaden his sonic horizons with "The Gorge," his latest single release from the upcoming 'Rooms' EP. In addition, Jason is pleased to release his first Rooms Mix, the debut installment of a 6-part series to be spread across 2019. 

‘The Gorge’ sees Jason incorporate a psy-trance twist into the classic Anjuna formula, courtesy of the young producers, Dimibo. Bringing the tune together, however, took quite a while. "I don't think I've ever had so many different versions of a track before this one, described Jason. "There were so many directions I tried taking it, but nothing was exciting to me. I knew the track was special and I didn't want to put it to the side, so I kept trying different routes. Then I had this wild idea to turn it into a cross-breed of progressive trance and psy-trance, and it all clicked."

The track is a reflection of the eclectic sets he's recently performed alongside the Ophelia label manager, Seven Lions. Jason went on, "lately, I've been experimenting producing different genres and playing them out at shows. When I played b2b with Seven Lions at #ABGT250, we played a psy-trance track and I've never experienced such a raw reaction from the crowd when that bassline dropped. I knew I wanted to try and recreate something like that which I could also play in my own sets."

Another new project, The Rooms Mixes are another way for Jason to show his increasingly diverse taste in dance music. Said the young producer of the series, "Hosting a 6-part series across 2019 will let me showcase both old classics and new material outside of the live environment. I can give fans a taste of where my heads at in a different way."
