He continued to pursue his passion by moving to London to study a music degree where he was acquired in the dance music scene as a session guitarist. After performing at venues such as Brixton Academy, KOKO & The Fridge Nick was inspired to explore the world of music production and electronic music.

After years of working as a musician and honing his skills as an engineer Nick is now writing as Mechanimal blasting full power trance music around the globe with over 40 successful releases and an all new chart topping debut album.

Know for seminal DJ sets across the world from Brazil to Japan Ibiza based DJ and producer Dimitri Nakov is now moving his DJ career to europe, as well as creating an exciting solo project, producing remixes and building collaborations.

His remixes for 'Coma' and 'Park It the Shade', both orginally by Sasha, had the required impact on the dance-floor and from there he became renowned for his remix of Christian Smith & John Selways' 1996 classic 'Move!'.

Further sealing the deal on the dance-floor was his release 'Sao Paulo Nights' for John Digweed's Bedrock Records which brought out a much more musical side to tech house and to Dimitri's persona which quickly conquered new ground.

Recent studio material can be heard in his remix with Sasha for Charlie May & Bazz Jamieson's 'Homecoming', and the forthcoming EP "Work For Love" in collaboration with Martin Dawson (of Cocoon and Get Physical fame).

As a DJ his parties stand out, from Soa Paulo to Paris, he performs must see sets and this year will be no different. Partnering up with Sasha to create 'Never Say Never' at the uber cool Ushuaia in Ibiza last summer put the pair at the top of the food chain with a party that is set to shake the island to its core this year.

South African based psy-trance DJ & label Manager of Expo Records. Dynamic Range is Known for his articulate mixing and aggressive approach to full power, full on psychedelic trance sets. This reputation has won him sets all over South Africa from Earthdance in Johannesburg to the thriving festival scene in Cape Town- with notable appearances at rezonance 2014/15/16, Alien Safari Sprung, Tribe, bear trap, Organik, Earthdance Cape Town, The Village and more.

Not to be classed by sub genre or set time, Dynamic Range is known for filling any slot on a line up, from the mid day 'rejuvenating' set right through to his transition sets from progressive to fullon or vice versa- "Bridging the Gap" as he so likes to put it.

When asked about his style, Dynamic Range is quick to point out that he plays “Journey” sets. Unplanned, each set is different. You are taken on a journey from slow to fast, darkness into light, aggressive into up right psychedelic funk- It is about creating a connection with the audience and feeding off the crowd- That is how you get the best response.

Dynamic Ranges addiction to psychedelic music lead to the founding of Expo records in 2013.
