We're back from our extended holiday period and we're proud to present our first release of 2024, this scintillating new EP from the Australian bushtechno weapon, Tom Baker.

The B-Side, 'Weather Patterns' finds Mr. Baker venturing into dark, driving musical territories. With its broody and menacing character, this track acts as the perfect storm to turn a dancefloor inside out. The title track, 'My Mistake', was born from a serendipitous moment in the studio, a happy accident whilst messing around on the tools that have evolved into a sonic masterpiece that is simply extraordinary.

The EP is accompanied by a banging psychedelic techno remix of Weather Patterns by Greenwolve and a smooth progressive take on 'My Mistake' by Human Element. Ultimately, this journey comes to its inevitable ending and is signed out by a bonus track - a 2024 edit of Tom's remix to 'Medusa' by South Punk, infused with newfound energy and vitality.

Universal Tribe has long been known for its deep, dark and earthy textures. Throughout the years there has been anomalies that defied this trend and brought us a taste of a Universal Tribe daytime sound. 

Now a new species emerges, a Subspecies that thrive for deep progressive day time produce. A sound that we plan to build and explore.

Compiled by Scionaugh, this new compilation aims to highlight the deep-daytime sounds of the Australian bush.
