Kyiv, Ukraine – Staying true to her desire to uncover and promote local artists Nastia is proud to present this fine addition to a young, but already notable NECHTO catalogue of releases. After exten sive testing period on various dancefloors all over the world the time is perfect to present another EP made in Ukraine. 

This selection of raw techno works comes from one of the country's hidden gems – Tymur Samarskyi a.k.a. Splinter (UA), who describes his relationship with the genre as a tender personal one and which started over a decade ago. Tymur describes his sound as modular techno with ambient elements, but this definition only scratches the surface of a rich, energetic and powerful artistic output, that is based on his love for hardware and notable instrument design skills. This release serves as a perfect example of such philosophy, aimed at rocking every dancefloor down to its core.

The fifth release on NECHTO Records brings you an all-powerful auditory experience.

After his first major live performance in Kyiv on Nechto’s biggest showcase event of the year, Symonenko is finally ready to present his debut EP. For Symonenko, music is a form of speech and fuel, and the further he progresses in his creative journey, the harder it is to uncover expressions that are authentic. Yet through fueling his exploration of music, the artist creates mesmeric audio narratives that carry the listener into dreamlike soundscapes.

“When I perform, I try to create a space where people's thoughts can effortlessly float. I want them to think about their lives in a new way! The more I evolve as an artist, the more I want to create an environment from unknown materials - super metals and synthetic ceramics of sorts. It's a world where people can see themselves from new perspectives, which is granted by the reflective nature of these unusual materials.”

The tracks from the EP were created in periods of being overwhelmed and inspired by raves in concrete spaces - two tracks from the release were written after a party on a Saturday morning in a half-awake state and right before daytime work.

"Symonenko is a new name on the Ukrainian dance music scene and I am so excited to see how he will grow as an artist," says Nastia. "The 'max4live' track from the new release captured my heart from the moment I first heard it. This debut EP is a captivating and powerful piece of work and I am glad that it is now a part of the NECHTO imprint."
