Acid, Techno, Roland, Modulars, No computer allowed

Manual Controller is the Twin Cities electronic music project of Paul Schwarzkopf. He generates left-of-center "groove-tronica" using all-hardware. 

Currently rocking a new live set, featuring A- Ron on acoustic drums and Em on electronified vocals.

Found sounds, chopped and spliced into music, augmented with synthesizers and acoustic percussion.

There is no better place to begin than where I am right now. After more than twenty years of listening, hearing, and inhaling sound, I have reached a point in time where I am prepared to exhale.

My intention is to reveal moments along my path, rather than any form of "polished product."

I am most interested in my intimate experience of the act of creation, rather than with its outcome.

This account is one tool I will use to practice the act of release; to offer sketches and audible signposts along the way, rather than waste energy in self-criticism and judgement.
