Emilio Bonito's single "Tiffany Falls" is inspired by the 21 meter high ribbon waterfall of the same name located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. "I always feel a sense of wonder and relief whenever I go there," explains Emilio. "The song is about finding solitude and peace. It's also an ode to Hamilton, and the beauty that lies in our city."

Emilio Bonito - Tiffany Falls

My first project as a beginner composer. 

All rights and art belong to their original makers(the film, the artwork, etc). 

I completely wrote this ambient like 80's score to the 2016 home invasion thriller "Don't Breathe". All sounds were made from my virtual instrument inside of my digital audio workstation. 

This is my first project, so please don't judge too harshly. :)

I Still Think of You is a solo guitar album recorded in an abandoned house. The natural acoustics of the different rooms were used to create the right atmosphere for each track on this somewhat melancholic album that has a raw and very intimate feel to it. One guitar and the reflections of the room, that was the concept. The simple, elegant and sometimes haunting songs are all written and performed by Jorn ten Hoopen. No overdubs, effects or accompaniment; just a guitar.

Most of the songs on Nocturnal Signal were written at night. The title track was written in a dream I had a number of years ago. Oddly enough, in the dream I was playing the melody on a trumpet, an instrument I’ve never played before. When I woke up I picked up my guitar and worked out the melody. I’ve re-used both the melody and chord progression in different songs and in different ways a number of times and will likely continue to do so; the structure is durable. 

This album is one part of three. The other two parts are a solo acoustic guitar album that draws more on jazz and classical and an album where the sound design and field recordings lead the way. Nocturnal Signal mixes those two sides of inspiration into one sonic mosaic.
