Making his highly-anticipated return to Purified Records, Dutch producer Corren Cavini delivers one of the most sought-after releases of the year with his two-track ‘Daydream’ EP. Entering an uplifting dimension, the title track whisks listeners into a state of bliss with delicate synth melodies in a feel-good soundscape. Moving into ‘Remember’, Corren devises a poignant atmosphere with layered instrumentation and rolling bass, evoking a sense of nostalgia within moments of play.

The ‘Daydream’ artwork displays an underwater shot of coral reef. Coral reefs, often called the "rainforests of the sea," play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems by providing habitat and shelter for a diverse range of marine species. They act as natural barriers that protect coastal areas from the impact of waves and storms, thereby helping to prevent coastal erosion and loss of land. There's probably close to a million remixes made from it already, but I just had to put my twist to it. Nadia's vocals are so mesmerizing that making this was nothing but smiles. Tried my best to build around the vocal and put as much emphasis on emotion as possible. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!

Making a welcome return to the label is Norwegian, Terje Saether who first featured on ICONYC back in autumn of 2015 with his outstanding remix of Plus Thirty's Dream Echoes. Passionate about his métier and adept in a variety of genres, ambience is an integral component in the Terje's production sound as techno, deep and progressive house are closely tied to sensations ranging across the spectrum from melancholy to delight. Now interchanging these differing moods into audile form. ICONYC is proud to announce Terje 's latest outing on the label with the brilliant 'Silver Lining EP'.

To start us off, Terje lets rip with the melodic soundscapes of 'Thinking'. Terje's influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations. Rippling melodies trip along a deep kick that anchors an auricular montage to create a special sonic infused moment, accompanied by a subtle vocal line that is going to leave a mark on your aural perception.

Next Up we have 'True' which opens with stunningly textured pads that warm the soul before a strong melodic infused bassline provides the base for this inspired piece to play out in delayed glory. Intermittent drums and electronica-soaked percussions in reverb come together to create a structured sphere of sonic geniality. Deep and hypnotic from start to finish. Essential stuff!

Last but not least, we have the title track 'Silver Lining' a musical affirmation, unified by a relentless kick drum and dark atmospheric emotion, the track is a concoction of warm, deep bass and grooves, swirling pads, textured layers and stunning effects. Clever acid phrases throughout complete the picture and create a cleverly worked piece of club music art to see out a true three-track masterpiece release from Terje Saether. 

Terje Saether’s ‘Silver Lining EP’ is an accomplished piece of work that highlights, that he is a true master of his craft. ‘Silver Lining’ sees a worldwide release on June 18th, 2018. Essential stuff that is not to be missed!
