Twenty-first instalment of the monthly show Плазма w/ TSUNIMAN on www.netilradio.com (Broadcast live on 01.10.23).

Last Spring, @tsunimanmusic had the opportunity to share the booth with @x-wave9 at the Berlin-based party @crudeberlin, an event showcasing fresh talents emerging from a mixture of different scenes and genres, focusing mainly on new and old psytrance. The duo played the dreamiest Goa that night, an obvious sign that they'd be invited to guest on PLASMA at some point.

With a certain talent for venturing where we don’t expect them, the X-Wave duo manipulates trance in all its forms and strives to break down the barriers between genres, like psychedelic explorers searching for new vibrations.
  A podcast series launched by @djsueur & @gtidj at the end of 2018 and broadcast every last Saturday of the month on the web radio DY10, X-Wave has quickly become an unmissable event for lovers of the genre. A catalyser for hybrid sound experiences, through which they share their own vision of dance music, mainly focused on old-school trance.
  In a perfect alchemy between goa, psy, prog & acid, the Nantes-based duo fuses all its textures to create a retro-futuristic universe, with an epically complex and immersive sound design. A deep, cosmic and groovy vortex where any notion of space and time fades to give way to tribal soundscapes and psy-nostalgic melodies.
  Diggers of timeless dancefloor hymns suitable for day and night, hidden producers but not for long, X-Wave is ready to deliver the most powerful beats and the best acid lines Trance music can create to the dancefloor.

Ballista 2024 (Live Set)

Pureblast (@pureblast) sums up the essence of the duo, at the crossroads of their explosive and contagious energy. Their music brings out something moving and elusive, which is particularly apparent when they perform. Capable of transforming a concert hall into a dance floor or building up a club's energy to the level of a punk show, the duo manages to adapt to the different venues they take over, giving audiences a whole new experience of partying.

In 2020, as the world prepared to go into lockdown, Cristofeu (DJ and producer) and sa+ga (DJ, singer, poet, author) were in Vienna, Austria. Confined together, they had plenty of time to make their respective artistic worlds meet and compose an initial series of tracks featuring poetic vocals, acid tones and synthetic layers drawing on trance, trip-hop, jungle and rock. A hybrid, uncompromising mix. This synergy gave rise to a 7-track Debut EP in 2022, which impressed with its maturity, cinematic power and dreamlike force.

In 2024, the duo returned with a fresh rock-infused EP named Psycho. Six new songs blending big beats, drum’n bass and trance with their touch of madness. A powerful piece shaped for the live with nameless energy and inspirations from Yves Tumor, Prodigy, 3L3D3P or Underworld. Psycho dives the duo into a new sonic and visual universe in which they reveal their alter egos.

This is just the beginning for the band, whose cathartic, futuristic music is likely to echo long into the night. As anyone who has listened to Pureblast knows: with a sound like this, this is only the duo's first detonation.
