Based in London but hailing from Athens, they draw upon a lifelong relationship with music spanning jazz studies, opera singing, and the punk DIY scenes of their hometown. in connecting the dots between these disparate aspects, they’ve committed to engaging with music that honours resistance and authenticity, and draws inspiration from those seeking liberation from oppression and societal frameworks.

As a producer and performer they have collaborated with multiple organisations such as Boiler Room, FACT Mag, DJ Mag, Mixmag, Dazed and have released music with esteemed labels such as Intrepid Skin, Haven, Repitch Recordings, and more.

A regular fixture in some of Europe's most renowned clubs and festivals, such as Berghain & Panorama Bar, Warehouse Project Manchester, Tresor berlin, RSO Berlin, Fold London, Corsica Studios and many more, MarcelDune is certainly a vital figure in europe’s nightlife scene.

I met Feenicks over 5 years ago when I first moved to Prague. I have had the pleasure to watch him grow as a DJ and producer throughout the years, so it felt really special to be there front and center for his first live set in Ankali.

It was one of those nights that we all live for, a packed floor with many friends around. Feenicks commanded everyone’s attention, and served us an incredibly stylish live set, with a smile on his face the entire time.

Verdict (no sugar-coat)

This is a club-ready, forward-moving trance cut with a punchy low end and a confident warehouse vibe. 

The groove lands; the hats cut; the drops deliver. What’s holding it back from truly elite translation on big rigs is a low-mid buildup (210–300 Hz) and occasional top-end sizzle that can fatigue at volume. 

Fix those two and your record goes from strong to dangerous.

What you nailed

Immediate momentum: Kick sits solid; bass has weight without flab.

Arrangement clarity: Clear intro → lift → breakdown → main drop → second lift → outro.

Hook identity: The motif is memorable; you don’t overplay it.

Club intent: Tonal “pink tilt” is right for Berlin-style rooms (low-end forward, top gently sloped).
