RIP IV is a bpd opera from the collective subconscious of E Fishpool, Kalyani, and Sam Miers. Set across Batemans Bay, Carlton, Bookar and Box Hill, the show traverses big emotions through dance music, improvisation, sampling and live instrumentation. Are organ covers the ultimate DJ hype edit? 

Played between CDJs, ableton, guitars, usbs, a heavy (and light) keyboard and human singing, RIP IV is a constant live edit, with Emily, Sam n Kalyani rotating roles and responsibilities to hold the set and move it forward. 

The set is constantly collapsing in on itself - with each artist offering new narratives whilst the others are slowly being ripped apart, re-used and recontextualised. It is a type of experimentation where the artists are able to bring all of themselves whilst simultaneously being open to being challenged.. Not only through sound, but through a collective vulnerability and openness to creating something incommensurable (fully tweaked). 

Punters reported experiencing something similar to an acid trip and tears were shed while hugging boulders.
