Azimuth, in this instance... is the arc of the immeasurable interstellar universe where the listener propels themselves through the Ether traveling and intersecting through the points of the great unknown. Azimuth is the initial launch that carries the listener through our solar system and on to the great beyond. This is a song for relaxation and contemplation of what will be next to experience through the vast cosmos.

This all started when I set up a pedal rig with ambient effects into an 80's Roland amp. I fell in love with the sounds the first day I plugged in and began to write an improvisational ambient post rock album (Embark the Ether). I felt I was floating into space and visiting far away stars with every note I played. I'm now a drone head and can't stop falling deep into ethereal soundscapes. Creating ambient music has helped myself and others reduce their stress. I appreciate you going on a journey with me through this immersive cosmos of sound textures. Take a moment for yourself to breathe, exhale, and float into a boundless universe of sound.
