I have always wanted to make a rap metal track with Heartscore so I was super excited when he reached out with this banging hip-hop metal fusion production. The lyrics are inspired behind the Hawaiian legend of Nanaue the Shark Man. I have some Hawaiian blood in me, so I figured I would rock it, lol! I am super blessed to still be working on music with my friend Heartscore. 

Massive thanks to Bitzone for coming through in the clutch with the dope vocal mix and final master. And huge thanks to Wou-Wou for the incredible song art making us look real stylish and professional!

I wrote this song during the pandemic during lock down. I'm glad I do not feel this way anymore; however, you'll never know the good times if you don't have some bad. Sometimes the longer winter drags on, we can begin to "fall prey" to the isolation, and often desolate weather and surroundings... lacking the warmth of the summer sun and vibrancy of colors. These feelings can even begin to make us question so much in our lives or about ourselves which may cause us to push friends away... whether the friends are old or new. But, if we are lucky and/or Blessed, we'll have friends who try to understand, us as best they are able, with what we tend to share about what is going on deep inside of us (sometimes because we don't understand it all ourselves,) and they may "meet us at the gate..." to stop us from "running." It is then the cold and slight despair of winter's frigidity (and our own rigidness) "begin to thaw" and we can see and welcome new patterns of growth within ourselves, not just Mother Nature. 

We are grateful for the Blessings... those who choose to be patient with us, as we learn to BEcome more patient with ourselves and work at recognizing and breaking negative patterns and behaviors due to past experiences. It's a tedious process; but, one we're finding a measure of peace in knowing we are supported in ways we weren't during the formative years of brain and "appropriate" social skills development. 

Though the events of our upbringing and others taught us to excel in the career world, they have also proven to restrict our ability to truly connect with more than a special few, in aspects of interpersonal relationships for more than say simply "lunching with friends." We look forward to spending greater quantities of time with a few folks, the better understanding we are gaining about ourselves. One of the ways we've been connecting deeper emotionally with Self is through composing and producing our own music. We know this and our previous behavior regarding collaborations has been alienating folks, to say the least. But, sometimes things aren't about you; but, about someone taking a deeper dive within themselves to learn who they are and what they are capable of doing, no... who we are capable of BEing. We appreciate your patience, along this ongoing process, to understand ourselves and others... better. Thank you!

Hiraeth discovered her power one day while staring up at the sky, lost in thought. As she concentrated, she noticed a small, white cloud slowly drifting across the blue expanse. She found that she was able to move the cloud slowly across the sky, just by her thinking about it.
