そんな感じの曲です。
先日、私は自転車で画鋲を踏んでしまい、
タイヤがパンクしてしましました。
あまりに悲しすぎて曲にしたいと思いましたが、
作っているうちに別のストーリーになりました(^ ^;)

Stepping on a makibishi (a sharp tool used by ninjas) that someone scattered,
My bicycle tire got punctured.
It should have been fun cycling.
I hate it now!

The other day, I stepped on a thumbtack on my bicycle,
My tire got punctured.
It was so sad that I wanted to make it into a song, but
While making it, it became a different story (^ ^;)

Rodolfo https://soundcloud.com/rplanes first shared this beautiful piece with me 2 years ago, which has had a gradual development since I first wrote the lyrics back then. More recently Ce Mastro https://soundcloud.com/cemastro added some exciting backing vocals which transformed the chorus and then even more recently we invited Dave McKeown https://soundcloud.com/dave-mckeown to contribute some lovely sax that we believed was just what the song needed. Rodolfo's song has such a feeling of romantic innocence yet with a wonderful rhythmic flow, that I hoped the words might feel from a simpler time. We hope you all enjoy our song of innocence (and inexperience) which thankfully is a work of fiction. Thanks again to Rodolfo for sharing this magical piece and his great skills as well as Ce and Dave's unique gifts to make this one happen.

This is the 7th song posted from the album I have been working on using demo tracks given to me by Wou-Wou & the Wormling during the start of the pandemic! I can't believe how fast time has passed and how long we have been working on this project. 4 songs from the album are based on a graphic novel that Wou-Wou had started before the pandemic began. The rest of the songs are reflections of the weird times we were living in.

Big thanks to Wou Wou, Bit-zone, and Stricknice for still being here after all these years. I have known and worked with people on SoundCloud probably longer than I have known high school friends, college friends, and friends from various jobs. Huge thanks to Guitar Wizards of the Future. This is a song that began with Steve (Steve's Planet)writing, playing it on acoustic guitar, and singing it on a stem he shared with Ken (K2 and the Three [and Four]), who added some perfect drums, as always. Ken then shared it with me, who added bass, and Tez (Llanpsych), who added some brilliant, tasteful guitar fills. We then got JJ involved, and he added the great, undulating organ. Finally, we got the master chef involved, Chris (cgmaness), who came up with some killer guitar riffs and mixed the whole thing very expertly. It must've been quite a chore, too, because there are a lot of magicians in this show. We all really feel lucky that Steve shared this song with us, and admire his singing and songwriting. We hope you enjoy our creation!
