先日、私は自転車で画鋲を踏んでしまい、
タイヤがパンクしてしましました。
あまりに悲しすぎて曲にしたいと思いましたが、
作っているうちに別のストーリーになりました(^ ^;)

This is a song that began with Steve (Steve's Planet)writing, playing it on acoustic guitar, and singing it on a stem he shared with Ken (K2 and the Three [and Four]), who added some perfect drums, as always. Ken then shared it with me, who added bass, and Tez (Llanpsych), who added some brilliant, tasteful guitar fills. We then got JJ involved, and he added the great, undulating organ. Finally, we got the master chef involved, Chris (cgmaness), who came up with some killer guitar riffs and mixed the whole thing very expertly. It must've been quite a chore, too, because there are a lot of magicians in this show. We all really feel lucky that Steve shared this song with us, and admire his singing and songwriting. We hope you enjoy our creation!

There was an old piano lurking at the side of stage so Dani wondered over and gave it a good bash mid set - i made some pretty average bass noises in the background : )  pardon the audio quality -  its a straight raw capture from my trusty zoom . Vibe is good though

This song orignated with Jeff, who wrote a poem, which he set to a beat and a key with some very cool vocal processing. He sent it to me, and I added the bass and the synth lines. I had to, of course, got the rest of the Eclectic Collective involved. Ken came up with a solid, distinct beat, based loosely on my first take. I then redid my bass line to match up with Ken's drums, which is the way they seem to work best, sometimes going back and forth like that several times until they're locked in. Then, Tez and Stephen each added very distinct, supportive guitar tracks to fill it in. Tez comes through with the very Strat sounding bells ringing throughout. Stephen really shines with his textural tremolo playing throughout, as well as the rocking end. He also produced and mixed it expertly, as always. 

  This is the first time the Eclectic Collective has collaborated with Jeff, although both Josh and especially Stephen (as part of the band, The Smoking Trout) have made music with him before. We really enjoyed making a song based on his vocals, and Jeff is a welcome addition to our sound anytime. We all really enjoyed making this one. We hope you enjoy listening to it.

My old SC mate Micah played drums to test a friend’s recording set, and sent me some cuts full of improvised breaks and tempos. I love time changes, yet this was really challenging!

I finally chose two of them and jammed with bass until I learnt his story telling.
Then, I clicked on the red button, again and again.
