After many drafts, hopefully I have a final version of this song! It’s about narcissists, who can seem shiny and attractive at first. But the dissonance eventually reveals itself.

Another one done from the album Wou-Wou & the Wormling, Bitzone, Stricknice, and I have been working on for almost 5 years now! You can definitely hear some of those 2020 themes in these songs. I feel like the world is starting to change and new themes will start emerging, so we had better finish up soon, lol. Please enjoy my latest offering to you all. It is another seagoing inspired track. Over the years I have seen many deep ocean whales in their natural setting but only once have I seen a pod and it was awesome. There must of been at least twenty of them spread across the bow at distance. I immediately reported my sightings to the captain who immediately stopped engines.  He went on to explain that in this situation you have two choices you can go hard to starboard or port depending on our postion relative to the whales course or simply stop the engines and take in the view explaining the chances of seeing another pod this large is very remote. this all happened long before smartphones came along so we had no way of recording the event. This took place when I was nineteen and I am now 71 and it is a memory that has stayed with me all these years. So I say to all our fantastic young people .... You are at the stage in your life were you are creating your memories .... .don't waste a minute. Thank you all for the great support you give me.... love and peace..

This was originally a song I wrote at the start of the pandemic called "Wait for Summer". I've remixed it and reworked it for non-pandemic times.

This song started all the way back in October, when Chris came up with lyrics and a vocal melody to go over his acoustic guitar composition. He also added the drum beat that carries it along, and contrasts Josh's bass part, which he added next. JJ came along shortly after and added his twinkling piano and ambiance thickening organ. 
  We had all these parts down, but for some reason this sat on the shelf for a few months. Finally we decided to dust it off. Chris mixed it for us expertly, as always, and we decided to put a ribbon on it. 
 This is an example of Chris's brilliant songwriting, shared with a couple of other musicians who are mutual admirers of his work. This is also a trio within the Eclectic Collective family, as we sometimes do side projects with different iterations of the group. We all hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.
