UMAMI stems from a need to rediscover the fundamental taste, in this case in music. It’s a word that is not translated into different languages, it is international, like the artists here from all over the world. Umami is the unique flavour that encompasses them all, sweet, sour, bitter, salty that encompasses perfection... which is what one feels when listening to music with a quality research, a mix of emotions that are created, leading the listener to moments of ecstasy.  

In each track, work has been done to create an unexpected, surprising, goosebump moment. It's sounds, words, metrics, bass changes, everything needed to bring out the Umami in psytrance.   

A journey from 144 to 153 bpm starting with deep dark prog rhythms and climbing towards more underground and dynamic sounds, ending with deeper sounds, psychedelia and forest.  13 courses for a sophisticated, quality menu.

E11even aka Liz, also half of “Stranger Than Fiction” started djing in 1998 and has been blasting dancefloors around the globe as well as organizing events for well over a decade. Her journey into music production began back in 2003 and has been refined over time, evolving into polished storytelling through groovy basslines, driving melodies and magical soundscapes.
