Based in London, the label emerged during the early 2000s as Grime was defining its unique sound and was closely tied to the dubplate culture that emphasized new & exclusive music. The label became known for releasing pivotal tracks from artists like DJ Oddz, Wizzbit, Plasticman & Starfox.

Slimzee's influence on the Grime scene is monumental. He is a central figure pushing dark, bass-heavy sounds that became synonymous with Grime's identity.

Bookz is a Grime Producer / DJ based in Brooklyn, NY.

 He has seen support from DJ Slimzee (Godfather of Grime), Garna, DJ Tubby, Spooky Bizzle, DJ BPM, DJ Big Mikee and many more.

He has released music on Slimzos Recordings, Xyberware, Reloaded Sounds, Feral Dubs, American Grime, ManVSMachine and First City Recordings.. and has had his music played on Rinse FM, Mode London, Subtle, BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM, Reprezent and more.
