The "Stock" series is dedicated to leftfield electronic music and is curated by Canadian academic (and former Resident Advisor contributor) Stéphane Girard. He is the author—among other books dedicated to contemporary experimental French literature and Cultural Studies—of "Poétique du mixtape" (Les Éditions de Ta Mère, Montréal), a semiotic investigation of the artistic practices of DJs and of their recorded performances.
