Verknipt is an event organization known for its wild techno events for over a decade! As Verknipt focuses on (hard) techno, industrial techno and other hard dance rave music, with multiple events throughout the year at various locations, booking well known artists and introducing our visitors to new rising stars! Together with a crazy light and lasershow and freaky visuals: we have the perfect mix to get you to rave! Verknipt was founded in 2012 and up until 2022 they organized events in the Netherlands. Within a short period of time Verknipt gained a well-known name in the Netherlands  and conquered the hearts of many techno fans. As of today they are the leading organization in the hard techno scene. Currently they are establishing a name internationally to build their brand and to also become the leading in the techno scene worldwide. In addition to hosting other major events such as Wonderland, Verknipt has made her mark across the country and increased its audience reach from different countries.

For more than a decade now DJ Jay Double-U or Jan Willem de Wagt has been successful in whipping up / turning on the public with his energetic and often, somewhat experimental DJ sets, while , each time, finding the perfect combination between different styles of house,like Tech-house, and uplifting Technomusic.

Jay Double-U started his DJ career at the age of 15 in the nineties, when house music started to become very popular and it was in the wake of this popularity that Jay Double-U established himself and became a household name in the northern parts of Holland.
During this period of house-evolution Jay Double-U was introduced/exposed to different types of house-styles. In his style of music these influences are clearly noticeable; a perfect mix of old and new are represented in a stylized modern Jay Double-U sound.

Over the years Jay Double-U played/worked together with differents artists around the globe. This experience greatly enhanced his versatility and confidence as a DJ.
Nowadays Jay Double-U can also be found in the recording studio, where he’s busy producing new tracks.
