This fortnight we will tune our ears towards the sounds of Indigenous Australia between 1970-1999. The music you will hear crosses from punk to folk, instrumental to rock, to snippets of synth and whispers of reggae. Some of the tunes are examples of traditional instrumentation and songs of the Dreamtime , while others are more indicative of the post-punk and rock scene that bloomed in 1980s Australia within the political movements surrounding the Barunga Statement. 

Most of all, we pay our deepest respect to each artist here and the strength and talent shown to create music with such a crossing of emotion, talent, political uprising, rebellion, resistance, and deep, heartfelt expression.
