Gamble is an American rapper, record producer, and actor, who is known as one of the most controversial and best-selling underground artists of the early 21st century.

Synopsis
American rapper, Gamble was born April 22nd 1987 in Pikeville, KY. Gamble had a turbulent childhood. Gamble released The Bounty early in 1999. The album went no where and received only mild interest from few independent labels. In 2000 Gamble released Psychosomatic LP his true debut album, picked up by a major record label and dropped in 2 months flat. After being dropped Gamble went into seclusion, “I focused on school and real life shit.” It wasn’t until 2005 that he formed an independent label, D.B.N.P and at the time it only consisted of 3 artist: Gamble, Pheonix (Rapper), and 
Ty-X (Producer). It wasn’t long before the label fell apart when Pheonix was imprisoned and Ty-X passed away. The label hardly recovered, “I just didn’t want to face this industry without my crew and it seemed like it was proof that we still just street punks.” In 2006 Gamble met Duece by pure luck and together they started attacking the game once again, then later in 2006 Gamble met Amoral (Producer, Rapper) and began a great friendship. So after less than a year the label was back to 3 members and was steady attacking the industry. Gamble started learning how to produce his own music with the guidance of Amoral and in 2006 to 2008 Gamble recorded and produced 4 albums (The Change, The Awakening, The End of Dayz, The Last Stand) In late 2007 Amoral suggested Gamble join him and fellow artist Rennis (Rapper) in a group known as Chainsaw so they could attack the underground and show no regard to what mainstream had become, Gamble slowly agreed and the group released its first album (Black Operation of Retribution) before Gamble and Rennis had even met. Early in 2008 Rennis joined D.B.N.P as part of Chainsaw and the label was back and bigger than ever. Since then Gamble has released 7 albums (Real Rep, Defiance, The Scarlet Dragon, Life and Crime, The Hiest, The Return, The Unknown) Chainsaw has released 2 more albums (The Spirit World, Militant Nemesis) and all together Gamble has signed and released many artist. The roster in 2008 - 2009 included (Gamble, Amoral, Shadow, Rennis, Pheonix, Buck, Duece, TAZ, Ghost, CrhisCrossed, DJ Swizzle, FlameRyu, MCLight) since then the roster has slimmed down greatly, “I wanted to focus on making the label stronger.” (Gamble, TAZ, Duece, Rennis, Amoral, Lucky) Gamble is currently working on a new LP (Desolation) and has started working with some of the greatest artist in the industry (Legendary, Whiteboy Mic, Derelikt) The future looks bright for Gamble and D.B.N.P Records. After accomplishing many goals and finding success to be dark and perplexing Gamble took a short break from the game and more or less hit reset. All social media accounts reset or deleted entirely. Gamble has decided to start over and focus more on giving back. As of now Gamble (GTS) is working on a long awaited album "HellHound" in which all profit will be donated to charity. Early Life
Rapper. Gamble was born as Travis Dean Thomas on April 22nd, 1987 in Pikeville, KY. His parents separated early in his childhood. The divorce was very turbulent and was full of manipulation from both ends, this largely pulled him away from his father. As a result, Gamble was raised primarily by his mother, Cherry Ring. She never managed to hold down a job for more than several months at a time, so they moved frequently while his mother jumped from man to man, spending large chunks of time in public housing projects. "I would change homes two, three times a year," Gamble later recalled. "That was probably the roughest part about it all." 

This itinerant lifestyle left a large impact on his personality. He had no close friends, kept almost entirely to himself and was treated like an outcast at school. Gamble has been scathingly critical of the way his father tried to raise him. Through his song lyrics, he has publicly accused him of being addicted to prescription drugs as well as subjecting him to emotional and physical abuse. However, his father has vehemently denied all such accusations.

Gamble attended Hillsdale High School in Jeromesville, Ohio, where he was considered an outcast due to the major difference in his demeanor and even appearance, “It was a hick school in a small town and kids stupid when they young so I was feared, looked down on and hated by most.” Despite being a poor student, Gamble always had a deep affinity for language, devouring comic books and even studying the dictionary. "I found that no matter how bad I was at school, like, and no matter how low my grades might have been at some times, I always was good at English ... I just felt like I wanna be able to have all of these words at my disposal, in my vocabulary at all times whenever I need to pull 'em out. You know, somewhere, they'll be stored, like, locked away." As a teenager, Gamble found a way to express his passion for language, as well as to release his youthful anger, through the emerging musical genre of hip-hop. He identified with the nihilistic rage of late-1980s and early-1990s rap music, and he was especially taken with DMX and Eminem as well as N.W.A., three popular and highly controversial rappers (rap crew).
