deemster makes his debut release and beginning of a new project on Gravitas Recordings March 3rd.  Previously known as RUN DMT, this new project is lovingly saturated with trip hop, jungle, turntablism, breaks, and other styles of music that inspired him early on in his career.  These brand new tracks have a nostalgic and vintage feel to them, while bringing back the past and pushing the sounds of the future in a whole new way.  Recording guitars, drum sounds, foley, and a vintage drum machine to capture the warmth of the late 90s/early 2000’s era of electronic production.

“This record is a love letter to the place where I live and to the kind of music that got me interested in producing in the first place. This project is also a reflection of my love for cinema, as I approach each record like a director approaches a film, where style and atmosphere dictate the creative direction rather than a specific genre. This record is a collection of vibes that have lived in my head rent-free since I was a teenager; trip hop, jungle, breaks, etc were the soundtrack to most of my life and I am thrilled to lay them out on a single project. Dragon, hailing from Bozeman/MT, and originally from outside of Boston. This man is a next level turntablist with immaculate mixing and track selections. 

Dragon's roots are bound at an early age from listening to hip hop. So, right away he had a strong liking for turntables and records and grew up constantly listening to all different types of music. He spins 45's and 7 " records, instrumentals, hip hop edits, remixes and different variations of original hit songs. Along with mixing Dnb, trip hop, and different variations of breaks.

Track 2 of the MALLEABLE MIRAGE EP. BRISTLER plays off a moment of undeniable inspiration, a tribute to moment of awe felt when one hears sonorous and reverberous sounds in massive open spaces. Divided into two distinct halves, a sonic diary visualizes reverb tails and sound waves coming into metaphysical contact with our bodies. The second half is an attempt at "writing to fill an open space".
