This is a rewrite that I did for The One O'Clock of my arrangement off of Maynard Ferguson's CD "Brass Attitude." The band absolutely ROARS! I had a blast revisiting this music as my final contribution to the NT Canon. For those of you who know the original, you'll find lots of cool changes on this one. Solos by Brian Handeland on bari sax, Stuart Mack on trumpet, Nolan Byrd on drums and Lupe Barrera on percussion. Enjoy!

This is a MIDI audio file generated from the Finale music notation program.  The arrangement, written by Earl MacDonald, was commissioned by the Westchester Jazz Orchestra.  It will be premiered on April 14, 2012 in Irvington, NY. You will have to imagine the trumpet solo and drum fills, etc, but it should provide you with the gist of how the piece was arranged/manipulated.
