This is the instrumental of a song written in 2017 about the overwhelming deaths that hit hard in 2016, including an aunt, uncle, mentor, dear friend, and my musical hero Prince. Also significant was the horrific attack on the Pulse Club in Florida, which led to this title. The full version with vocals and the final mix is coming this fall.

“Wish Me Well” is a track I produced in 2023 for Phonte and Big Pooh of Little Brother, sampling “Ecstasy” from my 2011 album The Breaking Point. As a long-time fan of Little Brother, working on this song was an exciting moment in my career. Their chemistry, honesty, and lyricism bring a new life to the beat, adding their unique perspective to this heartfelt track. The blend of soulful vibes and storytelling captures the essence of what Little Brother represents in hip hop, and I’m proud to have contributed to their sound in this way.
