mrnayed is a self-taught sonic artist whose form of expression touches on various topics, such as vulnerability, social constructs, sensuality, radical love, mental health, and not limited romance. He uses sound as a vessel to convey his forms of expression. His creative process is a play exploring and experimenting with sonic elements as a form of creative, emotional, and spiritual expression.

His creative journey began as a minimalist solo artist, crafting two projects, "July Vibrations EP" and "Origin," using only a smartphone and the Music Maker Jam app. His creative process is an exploration of sonic elements, a symphony of experimentation that mirrors the complexities of the human spirit.

Rapping, singing, poetry/songwriting, and sound design serve as mrnayed's tools of expression, each element blending seamlessly to create a unique sonic signature. His music draws inspiration from a diverse spectrum of genres, including Jazz, Classical, Hip hop, Soukous, Rhumba, Taarab, and the soulful melodies of Soul & RnB.

Venturing into the professional music realm, he has released a single, "Move!," a rap anthem that celebrates conscious living, the power of choice, and the joy of embracing life's journey. His latest single “ni mimi ” which talks about energy transmutation, patience, hardwork and reminding us about the blessings bestowed upon us when we begin to feel unworthy or jealous of other people’s success. As an expressionist, he values authenticity, stripping away pretense and embracing the raw, unfiltered essence of his emotions. His style is a testament to his intuition and unwavering spirit of experimentation. His self-produced projects are born out of an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering passion for musical expression.

mrnayed is not merely an artist; he is an emotional alchemist, transforming raw emotion into sonic gold. His music is an invitation to embrace vulnerability, challenge societal norms, and explore the depths of one's own being. He was part of the selected artists for the Santuri Spotlight sessions, November edition where he made his debut with a performance of his soon to be released EP, ‘colored sonics Vol i’. This marks a new phase for mrnayed to explore his eccentricity through Live performances.

Earlwin is first and foremost a writer, using whatever medium available to him to tell stories. Of these mediums, the most prominent is music, which he dabbles in with no preference for any genre. "Whatever brings on the goosebumps," he says. He wears all his influences and emotions on his sleeve. He is a singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer based in Nairobi, Kenya. He cites Kanye West, Andre 3000, Prince, AKA, Frank Ocean, James Blake, Pink Floyd and Elis Regina amongst his many and varied influences.
