Familiar from Futurepast 6th vinyl EP, released in 2021, Johan Sturesson and Jan Svensson this time decided to reveal their reassuringly lyrical identities with a genuine chord. Showing pictured personalities along the rhythm as well as their unspoken inner secrets. Each one of them as the protagonist of the characterised atmosphere in their own meandering experience. First 30 minutes are full of realistic depictions, exploring the reflection of the creator Johan, seamlessly linked to the last 30 recorded by Jan, both combinedly created to be read as art. Two pieces of authentic hearts transmitted in our confidence.

Trushmix 215 proudly presents Teknobusker Live at Globus/Tresor. A live recording of the legendary Teknobukser gig 23rd of September last year! The guys where invited by DJ Sotofett to play on one of his regular nights at Globus, where quality underground talent is presented.

The now familiar group Teknobuskers have been raving the tunnel's of Berlin with their distinctive danceable acid for years. And now it was sure time for the club! And they delivered! A talk of the town for a while, and now you can hear the recording on Trushmix! The concert consisting of the now departed founder SJ Tequilla on 303, together with his still active bandmates Aaty on EFX, Robotron on beats, 303 and sampler and the charismatic vocalist Nate!

A pure underground live acid club experience!

Trushmix 215 - Teknobuskers

For about fifteen years now, I’ve closely followed the journey of Ed Isar. His work influenced me way back in the early 2010s when he was writing articles on Get The Curse, by far the best French electronic music blog at the time, and a true lighthouse for an entire generation of music geeks. Not only do I owe some of my most crucial musical discoveries to this website (such as Donato Dozzy…), but it also played a pivotal role in shaping the foundation of our own previous collective, Trace A Line.

Highly active in the Parisian underground scene, Ed frequently performs as a DJ in clubs such as La Rotonde or La Station, where he also curates his own nights. His sets flow seamlessly across the spectrum of electronic music, always with the goal of connecting the dots between disparate eras and scenes yet linked by a certain common thread. His mix for our series reflects a more introspective facet of his sonic palette, where each track slowly unfolds to create a dreamy ensemble reminiscent of those 5am meditations in the chill-out room.

Transitioning Into the Year 2024 (8), a new celestial sound entity is being released on DREAMS, the alternate g3nre bending sub-label of Childhood Intelligence. 13 Track variations of Downtempo / Drum N Bass and Breaks with Celestial Soundscapes, Dreamy Pads & Mind-Healing Melodies.

Written & Produced by Mihail P. from Vinica, Macedonia. Him being part of a new generation of UK / Detroit techno & IDM artists, presenting his signature melodic & deep sound choices on his first Album that reminiscent of the great early works of B12, Black Dog Productions, WARP and Darren Nye.

“I’ve always wanted to create and make things, even when I was a toddler. When all the other kids would play with toys that had been bought or given to them as presents, I was much more into making my own toys. I’d also design castles from cardboard and let my imagination go wild. So, when I discovered electronic music, I wondered how to go about doing it – create such an atmosphere in the track. I really love the ambience of early UK Techno, the atmosphere presented and how it all works together. It’s always a personal journey for me, regardless of what the artist had in mind while producing, you always find your own interpretation: mind music for sure.”

With the “It’s Just A Ride” Album, we finalise a project that has long been in the making. Watching Mihail’s growth and transition - the moment has come to release his intimate music for peace & understanding into this universe.
