Rizla Ops joins the NHS orbit with his debut EP release 'Aphid' - An offering of functional, mechanical crawlers that hit disparate BPMs and creep into the territories of many genres of club music that predominantly hail from the shores of the UK. The brief collection highlights a generous dose of maximalism and pairs this with a microcosm of jittering, insectoid syncopation.

Rizla Ops emphasises the magnification of the world that lives in between the cracks of our existence through this collection; he examines the harshness as an inevitable aspect of nature with an scathing and uncompromising lens. The steady march throughout is definite; pacey, systematic rhythms are the focal point of the cohesive selection of tracks that make up this impressive foray into the world of collectivized, paired dance tracks.

2025 marks the return on Early Reflex of Turin-based producer and label-head Alec Pace inaugurating an exciting new series, EYES, with the release of ‘Eyes I’, a two-tracker set to drop on February 14, 2025.

The EYES series is a fresh venture for Early Reflex which aims to offer peak-time dance-floor tools in a streamlined two-tracker format and establish itself as a go-to destination for DJs seeking impactful yet innovative club tracks. Each release will also feature original hand drawn artworks, emphasising both auditory and visual creativity.
‘Eyes I’ the first two-tracker of the series specifically showcases Alec Pace’s knack for crafting powerful, high-energy music.
The opener “Apex" is a no-nonsense four-on-the-floor techno roller, propelled by dazzling synthesisers and a relentless rhythm designed to captivate the dance-floor. The track evolves dynamically, shifting focus to its bold, textural centrepiece
The following track “Nadir" in contrast ventures into more unconventional territory. Built on off-kilter beats and anchored by a commanding lead synthesiser. Its hypnotic layers and driving energy make it a quintessential peak-time weapon.

Speaking about the series, Alec Pace explained:
“With the Eyes series, we want to strip things back to the essentials while keeping a playful and visually engaging aesthetic. Each release is about creating impactful tools that DJs can use to elevate their sets, paired with artwork that inspires curiosity and interaction.”

‘Eyes I’ is available across all platforms on Friday 14th February 2025.
