This is the follow up to earlyW~Rm's "Natty Droid" released on the Renegade Media label in 2011. 
No doubt earlyW~Rm's commitment to pushing the boundaries yet staying within the genre are still a top priority. With a heavy foot planted on the foundation of classic Dub and Reggae his production dares to push up through the roots and offer something crucial.  Driven by technology yet lead by the masters, this Dub force won't stop 'til he's mulch.
While spotting some of the influences in this work may not elude hardcore Dub fans, it's where he jumps off to express a unique take on those influences that it becomes truly original. Quirky vocal snippets mashed over dirty bass driven riddims is to put it simply. With great attention to detail in the mix he still manages to uphold a rude disregard for what's proper to most purest of the genre.
"The Dub Device" offers up a collection of 11 tracks that  promise to deliver fresh buds into any Dub garden. So pull up a HiFi and tuck in to this high grade offering of sonic tonic from Toronto's John James aka earlyW~Rm.
