Laura Hunt is a Sydney based musician and artist. Hunt has played with bands Ghastly Spats and Drown Under; releasing multiple cassettes and records with Australian labels R.I.P Society, Exxe Records, Paradise Daily, Heinous Anus, and Special Awards. Hunt collaborates with Jannah Quill in dance noise project WDK. She recently completed a 3 month residency at International Cite des Arts in Paris and is currently on tour with WDK in New Zealand. 

"‘He Told Me I'd Never Look Rich’ is a dance noise, beat heavy soundtrack. The track was formed using amplification of electromagnetic frequencies, drum machine and synthesizers over cracked ASMR, paper shuffling, brain hacking audio, heaving breath and half formed vocal samples. It was created with the intention to conjure a coagulated world, influenced by the spaces between desire, corporate culture and primal urges." - Laura Hunt
