Sacramento death metal behemoths, THE KENNEDY VEIL, are set to release their Trinity Of Falsehood full-length next week!

Produced by Nick Botelho at NB Recording in Santa Rosa, California and featuring the debut of new throat Taylor Wientjes, Trinity Of Falsehood is an unapologetically methodical, fast-paced display of sharp, groin-churning DM brutality. In a 9/10 review of the offering, Dead Rhetoric champions the band’s, “no-frills, modern death metal… heavily rooted in the speed and technicality of Origin and the fury of Decapitated,” further boasting, “THE KENNEDY VEIL has thrown down the death metal gauntlet for years to come. Trinity Of Falsehood is a scorcher,” Heavy Metal Tribune notes, “The high speed and furious intensity that the band provides on Trinity of Falsehood easily reminds one of band’s such as Hour of Penance, Psycroptic and Origin, and this especially so with the ease of fusion of technicality, brutality and melody…,” while Metal Temple, in an 8/10 rating, adds, “The thing that… separates THE KENNEDY VEIL from the pack is the fact that there are definite hooks among the relentless displays of technical prowess…”

Merging influences of classic DM legends like Deicide, Morbid Angel and Suffocation with the more refined aggression of bands like Origin, Psycroptic and Decapitated, THE KENNEDY VEIL features within their ranks Wientjes and Peterson alongside guitarist KC Childers (ex-Forktung) and drummer Gabe Seeber (Alterbeast, Decrepit Birth, ex-Wretched Dawn). Quebec City-based death metal trio and recent Unique Leader signees, UNBREAKABLE HATRED, will unleash the audio carnage of their forthcoming new full-length next month. Titled Ruins, the eight-track face-breaker was recorded by Chris Donaldson at The Grid Studios (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, Neuraxis etc.) and is a sincere and violent exercise in spine-shattering malevolence; relentlessly fast, precise and rabid with enough brutalic grooves to windmill your way into oblivion.

Pummeling ears since 2008, the band has already earned the respect and adulation from some of extreme metal’s most esteemed figureheads. Suffocation’s Terrance Hobbs calls UNBREAKABLE HATRED, “one of Canada’s premier death metal acts,” adding, “this trio of power lays waste to the listeners ear drums on every level and then some!” “UNBREAKABLE HATRED blew us away each night with their energy and ripping songs,” championed Misery Index’s Jason Netherton, “it was a total pleasure to have them on our tour… Ferocious!” Cryptopsy’s Flo Mounier concurs, “UNBREAKABLE HATRED are definitely one of the new bands out there to be recognized! The fretwork and drumming are fast and furious, yet all the abundant instrumental athleticism is harnessed within a song structure that’s anchored by punishing grooves that pull you solidly back to earth (and drive you straight down into it, too) just when you think the music is going to fly off into space. Forged by guitarist Philippe Drouin, his drummer brother Dominic and vocalist/bassist Simon B. Lapointe, UNBREAKABLE HATRED manifests a mutinous amalgam of old-school death metal brutality, modern technical wizardry and blistering groove making for a relentlessly visceral sound expedition. The band released their debut full-length, Total Chaos, in 2011 via Galy/Lacerated Enemy Records. Largely underrated but no less scalding, Sea Of Tranquility noted, “UNBREAKABLE HATRED… play a brand of technical death metal and grindcore that is as brutal as it is catchy,” further crowning it, “an all-around solid affair that shows plenty of promise.” In a 4/5 rating, Sputnik Music applauded the band’s versatility. “Rather than remaining excessively tethered to a single structure, Total Chaos often has varying time signatures between the instruments that resonate well when meshed just right – particularly the rhythm guitar and the drums – and that the band pulled this feat off and still have a sound structure just screams skilled.” Added Bravewords, “Fortifying the link between Dying Fetus, Cryptopsy and The Last Felony, UNBREAKABLE HATRED is one of Quebec’s latest new hopes, the group a feat of technical death worthy of some sort of engineering degree… Total Chaos is a record built on supreme musicianship, attention to detail and a steely determination to impart its will while crawling through the haze of the multitude.”

UNBREAKABLE HATRED - The Beginning Of The End

Deathgasm Records will proudly release the mighty eleventh official studio full-length from long-running Kentucky-based death metal legion, ABOMINANT, in late July, this week issuing the album’s artwork, track listing, preorders, and more.

For twenty-three years, ABOMINANT has done their best to write individual songs rather than repeating the same style, in the process simultaneously enticing or alienating much of the metal underground, causing them to maintain a purely cult status. With no interest in trends or genres; they have always carved their own path through the metal underworld, recognizing the appeal of individuality and attempting to separate themselves from getting lost in the sea of brutality. The band’s relentless eleventh album, Napalm Reign was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Scott Briggs and ABOMINANT inside Velocity Studios during the Winter months of 2015/16. Napalm Reign spews forth eleven brand new aural assaults and showcases the band executing their subterranean thrash-tinged blackened death with the passion and vehemence of true scene veterans.

Napalm Reign will be unleashed by ABOMINANT’s cohorts at Deathgasm Records on July 29th.

ABOMINANT was formed in 1993 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, following the demise of several local death metal acts. Guitarist Tim Ball and bassist Mike May from Sarcoma joined forces with guitarist Buck Wiedeman and drummer Craig Netto from Effigy to start a new project with darker, heavier roots than their previous outfits. In early 1994 they released their Never Truly Dead demo, and soon after, Wiedeman left to join the Air Force. Acquiring Mike Barnes from Louisville’s Cataclysm on vocals, they released another demo in late 1994 which led to a union with Wild Rags Records. Wild Rags released ABOMINANT’s debut, Unspeakable Horrors, in 1996. Wild Rags also opted to issue the Never Truly Dead demo on MCD format. The band released two more full-lengths through  Wild Rags — 1997’s In Darkness Embrace and 1999’s The Way After — before the label’s demise.

While in between records and labels, Wiedeman returned to the fold, increasing the band to a five-piece and doubling the material needed for a new record. ABOMINANT soon connected with Deathgasm Records for the release of 2000’s Ungodly which garnered the most success and positive reviews for the band yet. After 2002’s Upon Black Horizons, Deathgasm also officially repressed The Way After. Following the band’s 2004 full-length Conquest, ABOMINANT parted ways with its original drummer and brought in Jim Higgins who had been in multiple local bands, including Cataclysm with Mike Barnes, which helped usher in a more black metal influence and also reinvigorated the band. Not long after, they recorded 2006’s Triumph Of The Kill, however upon its release, Wiedeman decided to bow out of the band for a second time.

The quartet released 2008’s Warblast and 2010’s Where Demons Dwell with Deathgasm before opting to self-release an MCD with two covers and two new songs for 2012’s Battlescarred. By 2013, the label released the band’s most fully-realized album yet, with Onward To Annihilation. Now, in 2016 ABOMINANT and Deathgasm Records are proud to present the band’s eleventh full-length album, Napalm Reign, celebrating their twenty-third year as a band. Truly fans of metal themselves, and the epitome of a brotherhood, ABOMINANT hopes all fans of death metal will enjoy our new record and possibly dive into their extensive back catalog.
